Great food, fantastic wines

The food is really very good and well put together. There is slight inconsistency between courses, but the general level is very high. The highlight, of course, the pairing of wines with the meal. Just outstanding. Prices are reasonable for the level of food and service provided.

My husband and me (both men) were here in December 2015 with two straight friends. The ambience of the place is really nice! the staff is good and the toilets are good too. There was a group of 12 people at the same time when we were there, which made it hard to understand each others because they were kinda... More

Three of us who are very hard to please when it comes to restaurants all had the same courses and agreed it was the best meal of the year. The chestnut and truffle soup was fantastic and matched perfectly with a great Riesling, which was not too sweet. The venison was cooked to perfection and was so tender. Although we... More

We made an advance reservation for 7 pm at this restaurant near our hotel, and an outside table for 2 was waiting for us upon arrival. It was a lovely evening to sit and enjoy this typical neighborhood of mostly 100 year old buildings, lots of restaurants and al fresco dining, and great people watching. Having a few glasses of... nice small restaurant in a pretty good surrounding. A slightly different concept of wine tasting restaurant. Very friendly and personal stuff. Good selections of wine. Food was not too big and heavy. I like the idea of having a wine bar with a small but tasty selection of food. It is a nice place for neighbours and friends, small groups... More

Me and my husband had the 4 course tasting menu with wines. Food was delicious and service was good. We were told about wines and they were all from Germany or neighbour countries. Deffinetly worth visiting!

Chose the 4 course menu with wines. Excellent food with emphasis on fish; ceviche of red snapper, salmon, saddle of rabbit. Friendly service, happy to explain background to the various wines. Set menu good value.

Me and my husband had a great dinner at this lovely restaurant. We chose the 4 course plus wine option. The food and the service was excellent. We can highly recommend this place. Looking forward to eat there again when we will be back in Munich. I would advice you to book a table as it can be very busy.

We visited during Oktoberfest and chose the 5 course plus wine option. The venue is very relaxed and informal. The food was very good and the wine choices interesting (note there was a greater focus on white than red wine on this option). Our host Patrick was very accommodating (he even texted me the next day to tell me I... More

Went early on a Friday evening. The place didn't begin to get busy until towards 20:00. We had the 5 course tasting menu with accompanying wines. (3 & 4 course options are available but what we had wasn't over the top.) We were told about each wine - all from Germany and Austria. Food was fantastic and we'll matched with... More
