The food was fine. We all liked trying a new type of food, but I don’t think we enjoyed it so much that we will be going back. The restaurant does not accept credit cards but they do take the Giro card. The menu was...written in English, German and another language (Ethiopian?) The restaurant was not busy, when we arrived there was one other couple there. Our group of three were sat at a very small table for two. We pulled another small table over to accommodate the third person but the server told us we could not use the second table. Turns out everyone shares from one large bowl. I have been there with a friend and wanted to taste for the very first time "food from Ethopia" . It was very tastefull, nice colours. We will come back !!

Café Omo was a great place to go for a change in seasoning....although we cannot say how authentic it is( it is one of our first experiences in this type of food) we loved it. Besides, it is a family business where you can feel...they are doing a great job: to bring part of their culture to us. The restaurant has some tables outside which we enjoyed in a warm September night.More

Just ate some fasting food as well as “Ye Bere Siga Tibs”. Taste is nice and Ethiopian like. Place is also cozy and comfy.

We tried ethiopian cusine for the first time and was realy suprised. The spices are someting special and very good tasting. We will definitely come back at our next munich Trip

We decided to visit new places once a month and this time we went to Omo. The atmosphere was more or less authentic, but still with a lot of European stuff. I expected more. The dishes were served on the metal plates with some kind...of "pan cakes" which was new and interesting. The waiter was great, kind and helping. There were only 3 tables occupied, two more were free, and the other were reserved (it didn't seem that many would come, but I can't judge. We were there till 20 pm). We got our main course ready in 20 minutes, the starters in 10, the tee was served right away. We didn't like the food. Not for the price. The portion of mixed starters for 2 cost 12 euros and is rather for one person. I wonder what one person could get. Main dishes cost between 12 and 18 euros for one, which would be ok, but you don't get enough. You get some sauce (one or several different), a little bit of meat and many sour pan cakes, which make the most of the dish. They were not tasty to us, but this is too subjective. We also ordered typical tee: one was black rooibos (which was good black tee) and the other with thymian (which was just some warm water with a lit bit of taste). It cost us 4 euros for each. Well, we would definitely not go there one more time.More

The place is not rather small but we were surprised to see it was very crowded. The food and the Ethiopian beer are very peculiar and tasty. It is not cheap but the food is good and very different. Despite the amount of bread, you...don't end up feeling bloated. We will come back for sure.More

Since we discovered this cafe two years ago, we use to come here on regular basis. The food is always fresh and tasty. There are very delicious options for vegetarian and many for vegan as well. The people are super friendly and is always available...for suggestions and information about the food, and also for friendly chatting. We use to bring here all the friend that come to Munich for some holidays. Super recommended!More

This restaurant was an absolutely terrific find. The food was beyond tasty - the owner shared all of his knowledge about the dishes to make sure we knew about the vegetarian (vegan even!) options. This spot and the owner had a real desire to share...and exchange that is rare to find in good restaurants and which makes you feel like a very welcome guest at their table! If you want to satisfy your cravings, this is the place to go. The vegan platter is strongly recommended. Everything is really really tasty and absolutely enough for two. I loved it. The service is also really great.
