About
Unser AMMER Wiesn Zelt ist kein Trend sondern Tradition. Qualität. Bio. Authentisch. Freundlich.

Had 3 reservations for our group. One at Hofbrau one at lowenbrau and one at Ammer. Ammer was the worst
The check in was a disorganised mob scene. The staff was very rude. The bathroom facilities were insufficient for the crowd. Food was terrible.
The other places were so great we were hoping this would have been good too. Stay away.

Some of the best roasted chicken I've ever had. Tried to duplicate the seasoning, come close, but just not the same. Goes great with beer!

Today we were already looking forward to the duck, which we remembered so well from our last visit. We were there at around 11.30 noon, so very early, and ordered 4 ducks, asking whether the duck was freshly roasted today, not one from last night! That's not what you get at Ammer (according to the waiter)! But it is, it was the driest duck I've ever eaten. Roasted yesterday and today!!! When you consider that the whole thing costs a whopping 43 euros per port (including 2 mini dumplings around 7 euros and 2 tablespoons of red cabbage around 7 E)... It's a disgrace and a rip-off, that's not acceptable - even at the Oktoberfest. Ammer is no longer an option for us, because every guest is worth getting quality for that price, even the early lunch guests!!!

We have been coming to the Ammerzelt for birthday celebrations for 16 years.
This year we were looking forward to it again, but were extremely disappointed.
We had a pilot's pan for 5 people.
-3 x a piece of chicken, 2 x a piece of a small duck, 5 mini dumplings, red cabbage, potato salad, sauce.
Price €187.50.
The amount was just enough for 2 people.
As there were 5 of us, we had to leave hungry.
We ordered for 5 people. €37.50 per person.
The 5th person got a small piece of chicken with mini dumplings and side dishes for this money.
When you consider that you pay €27 for half a chicken, that is not correct.
The price/performance ratio is no longer right here. For me it is a rip-off. I will no longer visit the Ammerzelt and will no longer recommend it.
