We visited the Viktualienmarkt to allow everyone the chance to get what they wanted. However, they may have been too much choice. We then gravitated to Biergarten as we saw everyone enjoying a traditional German meal of sausages, pretzels and beer and it look real...More

Lovely market with stores selling herbs, honey, sausages, handcraft and a lot of different food stalls. Quite enjoyable stroll around. People are friendly. I tried a sour lungs soup with potato dumplings. Didn’t like it but worth exploring.

Very, very nice garden with traditional south german food, it's a huge place, though can be pretty busy at the peak hours, booking ahead is recommended.

I would definitely recommend this restaurant in the centre of the market. The service was quick and helpful. We had the Currywurst and schnitzel with chips. Both were authentic and delicious.

Need some help to understand how this works as you don't know the place ? ''I don't care '' is supposably an acceptable waiter's answer here. Sometimes, waiters can be not nice for some reasons. But being rude is never acceptable.

The atmosphere of this place is like the stereotypical picture you imagine when you think of drinking beer in Germany. Tons of wooden tables lined outside with people enjoying mugs of beer. It's very crowded so you might have trouble finding a spot and will...More

It wad my first time here and I could feel at home with other German fellows. The atmosphere was excellent and makes you feel familiar with the Germans. Additionally, food was also great, we took bratwurst, pretzels and loads of beer. The place is crowded...More

I would say if you’re bundled up. I was there at the peak of summer so it’s hard to say.
