Ordered the schmalznudel, the fried round bread with a sink hole in the middle and it was dipped into sugar. It's plain and tasted not too bad with the sugar coating. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Cost 2 euros btw

OK this is an easy review to write. This place basically does one thing in a couple of different shapes and its nothing fancy. Schmalznudel is basically a doughnut. They are fried to order and you forget the diet, throw loads of sugar of them and eat with a cup of coffee or chocolate or orange juice. This place has... More

We had breakfast here one of the days we were visiting Munich. These are some of the best pastries we've had in our trips all over the world. Everything was so fresh and flavors were subtle. They don't have a lot of choices but what they do they do excellently. Very good coffee as well. You will not be disappointed... More

It is well located and the place is big, there is table outside and inside. The typical german food are really great. Staff speak a good english and have patience to explain about the food.

If you want to see what heaven taste like, go to this cafe. We had the schmalznudel and a kropfin (donut) and they were WONDERFUL. We even went back the next day. The cappuccinos were also very delicious. I would recommend this is everyone. MUST VISIT!!

We were amazing by the patient (but very fast-moving) queue waiting outside when we arrived. There are only a few options and if you don't speak German you won't have a clue what they are, but the Schmaltznudel is the thing. They can't fry them fast enough and they're sold as fast as they're ready. Eat them hot! We also... More
