We used to come here since 10 years and were always happy. Since the owner changed, it's not the same anymore. The service guy is extremely rude and unfriendly. Can't say anything about the food, we left again before ordering anything. This is just no way to treat a customer, stay away!!!

We were told that there's a change of management when we made the reservation. We didn't think it would have affected the kitchen too. The ambience was casual. There's only one waiter so the slow service was expected. No biggie. The food was a disappointment. Little to no flavors. Even the recommended apple pancake was average at its best.

Excellent Bavarian food, great atmosphere, and very friendly service. Especially enjoyed the pork schnitzel and the roast pork special. Apple strudel with vanilla sauce was also amazing.

Munich is a small enough big city to navigate easily with mass transit, so you can get around beyond the glockenspiel at Marienbad and not miss a thing. South on the U train and across the Isar river to Kolumbusplatz station is a residential and commercial neighborhood informally called Nockherberg. A very short, safe walk from the station along Nockherstrasse... More

We went here after arriving late into Munich. About 10 minutes walking from the nearest U station. There were no English menus and our server was so kind and translated everything into English for us there - amazing! Everything we ate was delicious and the service was very fast and efficient. Nice and warm ambience.

I had picked the place because of their excellent customer reviews in the group of traditional Bavarian pubs here on TripAdvisor. So we went there as a group of friends on a Saturday evening for dinner. My first impression was a quiet, down to earth and relaxed place were mostly guests from the neighbourhood have a good time. We tried... More

This restaurant is a delightful traditional place to eat. We had the best Wiener schnitzel here and all other dishes we tried including spaetzle and chicken were excellent. The staff were very helpful translating the menu for us. It's away from the main tourist areas and we thought this was a bonus to sample some traditional food.

We were staying just around the corner from this place and arrived after a long day so we didn't want to go far. We were very futunate this was the case as the meal here was wonderful. 2 of us dined and we had the wiener snitzel and the roast pork. Both servings were huge and delicious with my wife... More

This was the first meal of our 4-night stay in Munich and we wanted to try something 'local'. This place didn't disappoint with the Wiener schitzel simply delicious. We booked a table and were glad we did as it was pretty busy (Saturday night) with a lively and friendly atmosphere.
