We ate here twice over a weekend away as we knew what we was getting. Good quality food and a Stein. Both times I had a dish called Grill-teller, which was essentially a mixed grill and it was very good value (around 10 euros) The waitresses were very nice and understood our Yorkshire accents well. They wore the traditional dress... More

The Augustiner is only 5 minutes walking from the train station. So best park any car outside the center and travel by train takes away your worries for parking. Our entrance at Augestiner failed, our reservation for 35 persons was booked for the wrong day. After some discussion, some tables were free up for us, but with extremely limited space.... More

Very bad meat quality! the daily dish was cooked deer meat with mushroom und noodles. The meat had a very weird texture, was badly mixed and tasted like plastic. We had also a big Bratwurst which was okay but very spicy. The service team was very nice and professional.

We had a great time here, we booked a couple of seats in advance and visited on a Sunday evening. We didn’t expect it to be so busy but the hall was pretty packed. We had a good meal and desert, nice hearty food. Service was pretty good. The hall has been going since 1328. The atmosphere was great, everyone... More

We were a group of 7, and it was very difficult to find a free spot for that many people for dinner in here, but still we waited a little bit and a spot freed up. If you want only to drink it is much easier to find a place to sit. In the drink only part of the restaurant... More

We had a company dinner here with about 20 people. They have some huge tables which were perfect for us (there are also normal tables). Good food, big portions and the beer price is relatively low (about 2,90€). Also the service was pretty good.

I waited 10mn in the entrance hall with my family with tons of waiters going through but that didn't care. I finally caught one and ask for a table, he told me he was busy. Same things with 2 others... Finally I get angry and so somebody lead me to a place and leave... I have to wait 5 to... More

If you're looking for a typical noisy, heavy food and lot's of beer that the place otherwise don't go. No discussions possible with your table unless you shout at each other. Service is rough not to say rude. Price are cheap but this is what you get cheap food and atmosphére.

This place was super fun--really laid back atmosphere, good beer, pretty decent food. Picnic tables inside are fun to fit lots of people, but also large booths available for large groups. It's a busy boisterous place, but wasn't incredibly loud or anything like that. Food wont blow you away--its typical bavarian grub, which means it pretty tasty! Everybody was pretty... More

On of our tour guides recommended this restaurant near our hotel. He said this is where the locals go and the beer is cheaper. The beer was definitely cheaper and Gut. We walked in on a Saturday night at 7pm and the place was full. No hostess so we walk back to see if we could find an open table... More
