Always a good place to go if you want to eat typical bavarian food and drink a really nice Augustiner right out of the brewery. We have been there many times and always come back with pleasure.

Visiting as many Beer Halls sounds a bit much but honestly when in Germany go for it. This is a fun, large and such a part of the culture that it becomes a must see. The food was good, the beer excellent and the ambience something you need to experience. Go, don't think you'll regret it.

The restaurant is a biergarten with good food. Service was good, much better than in other large beer gardens in Munich. Staff accommodated our requests to substitute some of the side dishes, rare in Germany. Recommend it for a good family dinner. Not as busy as the other large beergarden in Munich!

We enjoyed up on the terrace on this warm evening, even midweek at 4 pm it was 3/4 full. It's a bit of a walk but we didn't mind we found the halls in town too packed with our baby in stroller. You can reserve a table and time online. We found the service very weird in that the section... More

While there seemed to be many locals at this beer hall, the food had absolutely nothing over some of the other ones we've been to closer or actually in the city center. We've been to better halls during our time in Munich and probably wouldn't make this one a repeat. Nothing glaringly bad, but nothing specifically great about it either.

Went here one evening. It was very busy and we ended need up sharing a table and enjoyed the conversation. We enjoyed the food and drink and found it great value. The apple strudel was divine!

We went to the main Brahaus in Munich but found it way too busy and crowded and so we went across town to the Augustiner. And we were certainly not disappointed! Still busy, but on a much smaller scale. It was a lovely summer's evening and so we sat upstairs on the terrace. This is simply but nicely decorated with... More

The beer hall was quite full when we arrived, so we sat upstairs on the dachterrasse. Unfortunately, you don't get the whole beer hall experience up there, but it was still nice on a summer evening. There's an English menu with pictures that makes ordering easy. It was a good mix of locals and tourists and service was very quick,... More
