The food was good, the service was always trying to get rid of us as quickly as possible. Too loud to spend a nice evening with friends. When we asked if there was a special beer for the aperitif - it's strong beer season, for example - we were only offered a light beer. And I always thought Ayinger brews seasonal beers. At least that's the impression the menu published online gives. We then had our dessert in Café Haidhausen: highly recommended Kaiserschmarrn, very friendly staff and most importantly: we weren't pushed away so that the table could be freed up again. My conclusion: once and never again!

The one point goes to the fact that the person who was serving us was super friendly (Perica is on the invoice)! The second for the seater who was super friendly in greeting us. And a golden point for the atmosphere. Great job with the interior decorator!
This newly renovated location gives you the impression of a modern brewery with a touch of the old charm! Which it does - the atmosphere inside is somewhat loud but to be expected in a brewery style restaurant. Lots is happening and there is quite a movement in the reataurant. What was a defenite not returning point was the attitude and situation and how it was dealt with.
25,00€;s FILETS VON LACHS (Salmon) UND ZANDER (Pikeperch) - Very well presented. However the lentils were on the verge of being to cold and the taste of horse radish was non existant. The pieces of fish were the size of half a "5 Euro note" very small. See picture. To top things off the fish was extremely dry. When i flagged down the waiter he apologised nicely and asked if they could give me something else. And i opted for a "Salat mit Putenstreifen" Salad with turkey strips-- as i was not then in the mood to order anything else. It was good, large portion and quite fresh. I also had a glass of SAU GEIL ROSÉ for 12€'s. A little over the top
Please note that I only tasted the fish (both) and tried the lentils. So dissapointing.
When I wanted to pay, on the way over the waiter had a brief discussion with the floor manager/ waitress (Female). then came to us and advised that they will take the salad off the bill but i would have to pay for the fish - Now you tell me if this is what they call in German a frechheit! To take off the invoice the food i had eaten but not the one i had not eaten and not to mention the less expensive of the two?!?!?!
Seriously? for the Amount of money one pays to be here and then that type of Managerial outcome?! Why doesnt the head waiter/tress come over and ask what the problem was?! For these prices one would only expect such a service. After having a conversation with the table next to me they too agreed that it was very inpolite.
Unfortunately i told the waiter to go speak to his boss and ask her what she thinks should be deducted?!. He came over not to happy and they took the fish off the invoice but her attitude in doing so could be very well seen that she had a problem with that.
After being a frequent customer in the past - I dont think id be returning any time soon. I wanted to show my guest a nice side of Munich and I got this!

The service was bad. The order was written down, but then nothing happened for a long time. The food and drinks took ages to arrive. The couple at my table had ordered another pretzel, but they had to wait in vain for it. My empty drink glass was ignored (elsewhere I am usually asked if I would like something else to drink). After a long wait and a complaint, two glasses of beer suddenly arrived instead of the one glass I had ordered. The food was average, the meat was bland, not worth €18, and the price-performance ratio was mediocre. Conclusion: I won't go there again.

The Ayinger in the Au used to be a really great address with nice seating in the summer even outside. Although the card did not change it, it significantly deteriorated the quality. The schnitzel is now a schnitzel from the system gastronomy, what is made in the fryer is also the fried potato which does not deserve the name. But €29 is really cheeky. Went with my family on New Year’s Eve. Waiter was German in the most kind way, prompt and helpful. We had the tartare which I’m normally apprehensive about but it was fresh, the side veggies and options were wonderfully to add some acidity and variety. I had the steak which was tender and perfectly cooked and my wife had the venison. We would definitely go back. Make reservations as is the norm for most restaurants.

Nice welcome was very friendly and we could choose from two tables.
The Seevice was attentive and fast. The food very delicious.

Very nice location to the hotel and a very big bar area. I would like to thank Florian who is an amazing waiter! He really knows his stuff and is so friendly! We would for sure stay here again. Coffee is the best we had in Germany so far

So you have been in Munich , seen all the sights and visited all the must-have Munich tourist site? Here is your secret escape. A traditional Bavarian restaurant, nicely decorated favoring the Bavarian flair and the great Bavarian food. From Ox , to veal , to pork ... all absolutely recommendable . Try the beer and find your favorite. A grand choice of taste for everyone. Our favorite the light wheat beer. And food wise no culinary restrictions .

The place advertises itself having a nice beer garden. It’s not very nice in the context of what’s available in Munich. It was lunchtime and not very busy, yet the service was slow. The pork roast with dumplings were a particular disappointment. The meat was very fatty and the dumplings had no taste. A shame considering that this is a signature Bavarian dish. Apart from all that the place is a bit out of the way. No need for this detour.

Staff with traditional costumes, super kind, the place was welcoming. I gave 4 stars only because I found it a little expensive as all of Germany is a little expensive but we had a schnitzel with potatoes, a coke and a water, 63 euros a little 'I would have understood it on a particular but simple dish like a cutlet, 27 euros per dish, but overall quite good.
