I have come here many times and I always bring my friends that are visiting Munich to come here. That's how I got to know tabula rasa as well. It`s a lovely place to come solo too. You will feel at home by the delicious fresh hot herb teas creations in winter, the sun peaking through the trees in summer... More

We stopped in this small cafe/restaurant for breakfast while walking into central Munich. There were tables (and blankets) outside but we went in. The breakfasts were good (I ate scrambled eggs with tomatoes and pesto served with a variety of bread) and service was pleasant. It felt relaxed and you would not guess you were so close to the centre.... More

This student-style café is a quirky option in Munich. I have been there once and had a nice breakfast. The other night I went there for a large glass of wine and as one commonly does, ordered a glass of tap water with it. First the waitress did not bring me the water. After I had asked her for it... We had a lunch there at a sunday, it's the kind of place I usually love, but not this time. Food wasn't bad but not memorable (I had a chicken curry). Least enjoyable part was service, a bit too rough for my taste (worst part when I paid with a 50 note and cashier called the owner check the note...after... More

Love the food and atmosphere here. A great summer/warm weather cafe, with delicious vegetarian options. Love sitting back and watching the city stroll by in this quiet neighborhood.

I really like this place. When I come to a new city, I hope to find: friendly, authentic, basic but solid food and wine, in a quiet street. This is such a place. Simple selection of bruschettas and pastas, and a few other things. The "kitchen" is behind the bar, including the washer. Feels like being invited in for a... More

Have eaten there numerous times. Would say, although quite small, some very good food is served up here. Friendly, if occasionally spotty service, and can even be a little bit claustrophobic. The quality of the food, though more than makes up for that. Very gracious owner. Absolutely top notch desserts, all house made, and the best lasagna I have ever... More

Good fresh food, very tasty. We had a very nice salad full of mixed ingredients and little surprises (some beets, seeds, cooked tomatoes and fresh ones, yumm!), and good ravioli. The service is really friendly - they didn't have a menu in English so someone actually sat with us and translated the entire menu to help us choose. Definitely worth... More
