The Katzlmacher is an amazing italien restaurant with brilliant food, great wines and an incredible customer experience. Super friendly staff and amazing service made this an outstanding dining experience at a very reasonable pricepoint.

Omg possibly the best meal ever. The staff were so friendly and helpful. And the food was amazing. The melanzane parmigiana was perfection. The sea bass cooked in salt was outstanding and not a bone in sight when filleted. And the most perfect end was...More

I've now dined twice here on someone else's dime and very much appreciated it. A very intimate Italian restaurant with an open kitchen, it is located just around from the Hofbräuhaus, at the opposite end of the dining spectrum. Both formal and casual at the...More

The staff was very attentive and the food was excellent. We were given small pieces of pizza to try and the crust was so light and delicious. One of my favorites in Munich.

Very unprofessional staff, we called and booked ahead. We were told ahead of time to take our time and not come on time. We did not come on time, and as soon as we arrived we have been told that we had no reservation. I...More

I wondered if I had come to the right place having read here that this is a GEM and 'unmissable' with 'delicious filling food'. We didn't think so but please read on and decide for yourself. Other people have said this place is expensive so...More

We dined at the Osteria on our last night in Munich. The food and the service were incredible. We had an appetizer sampler which was outstanding; each one was flavorful...the octopus was my favorite. The half portion of al dente pasta was perfectly seasoned and...More

If you're looking for a break from heavy German food, consider Italian, specifically this place. The servers are very professional and speak Italian, German and English. They bring you the menu and explain everything that's on it. It's pricey but it's worth it. Everything we...More

Sorry, I was there for mid-afternoon beer and snack stop. My sense is that "smart-casual" would fit right in....

Description
Cuisine with passion. This is how the host Giorgio Cherubini describes his way of presenting to guests good quality Italian cuisine based on the finest ingredients. The restaurant is characterised by pewter plates and massive pillars which end up on the ceilings as oversized hands. The place is cosy and the food tastes good. It certainly agrees with the upmarket clientele. The staff are friendly and serve a range of dishes including cuttlefish with polenta, saddle of rabbit served with artichokes and melon salad served with strawberries. The restaurant serves a selection of Italian wines.
