Great food, very nice people, super atmosphere, stunning views (the park). We had lunch in the garden, it was served quickly, it was very tasty and so good we decided to come back for dinner in the evening. We were recognized by our waiter from the afternoon and he showed us to our table, that was a very nice thing.... More

Business trip visiting colleagues who I know well, so this relaxed open air beer garden was a great choice on a warm evening. Dined in serviced area, relatively simply traditional Bavarian food but very well done. Portions generous but not stupid. Beer excellent even for Munich - matured in wooden barrels apparently. Service pretty good considering how busy it was.... More

Nice beer garden. Expect self-service for everything - there is a service area as well, but the outdoor place is nicer. Food is good and you see what you get. You may also only buy your drinks and bring your own "Brotzeit".

Being the biggest beer garden in Germany, the expectation isn't for great quality but the food was surprisingly quite good. The service was very lack lustre, our waitress definitely had some attitude but all in all it was a good experience.

This is certainly a place to visit, if weather permits. This is an outdoor place, unless you sit in the full-service area - which is good for business meetings. I would recommend to sit in the open area.. buy a big beer, radler or an Apfelschorle. You may want to buy Obazda or Radi, get some ribs... or just bring... More

We stayed at the wonderful Hotel Laimer Hof, and we walked the short distance to this biergarten. We had a terrific time there. The food was good, and the ambiance was even better. On one of the days we went, it was warm and sunny. There must have been a thousand bicycles parked out front. The inside of the restaurant... More

The menu is huge one is surprised how all that different meals can be served within 15 min. They use a lot convenience products all gravys taste... More

If this had been the first place I visited during this stay in Germany, I would probably have given it five stars. The food was very good, there were some items I hadn't seen elsewhere, the service was efficient and pleasant, and the beer was outstanding. As has generally been the case, the value factor is high; you get a... More

Relaxed warm decor, inviting. Great service too. Food however quite average. The usual choices - pork knuckle, schnitzel etc. Soup a bit too salty.

Popped in here a couple of times on my recent trip with friends. They have a large selection of food on the menu including a comprehensive selection of traditional Bavarian dishes. The ham knuckle was great and we enjoyed washing our meals down with a couple of large beers.
