Great pre-oktoberfest atmosphere. The pork was very tasty and the beer litter was perfect! Great place to have dinner and drink some beers on a hot summer night.

This one is a must if you are in the western part of Munich. I bring my foreign business friends & partners here and they regularly stick their noses into the food because it is so good. Excellent local beer and super-friendly service. 4 thumbs up!

We visited the Hirschgarten with our two young grandchildren. The park is large an criss crossed with cycle/footpaths. There are deer and goats to feed and a range of well set up play areas with a range of equipment to suit a variety of ages. It is very popular with locals and as such a good place to observe free... We dined here last night on recommendation of our hotel. The setting was lovely but the service was appalling and the food overpriced and not particularly good. They offered an English menu which had fairly poor descriptions. I paid 15 euro for what I expected was a gourmet ( home made ) hamburger but it was just a hamburger with... More

Our first experience at a German beer garden and it will always be memorable. From our selection of a mug from the "cupboard", having it filled with delicious beer to the pretzel the size of a dinner plate, this was a fun time.

This beer garden is amazing. It's really huge. In a big animal enclosure you can observe the deers meanwhile you enjoy your beer. You also can bring your own food with you or just by it there. In summer it is a must for every tourist who want's to get the real feeling of a beer garden.

"Königlicher Hirschgarten" is popular with locals and tourists alike. A lovely setting in the Hirschgarten with ample inside and outside seating - but on a nice sunny day you want to make sure to find a nice table outside. They offer traditional Bavarian cuisine like pork roast but they also offer various pasta dishes and salads. Our waiter was courteous... More

Loved visiting this place. The beers are great, the food is fantastic. It was lively - even on a rainy Monday night :-)
