The previous reviews of this restaurant do not lie. I was recommended this restaurant by a friend who's family is from Munich. The service is top notch and everything we ordered was like a piece of art from the soup, boiled beef main course and desserts. I will definitely return to this restaurant next time I'm in Munich.

We visit Munich yearly and among the restaurants I have tried this is the best restaurant I really like. The food is superb!!! Excellent service and atmosphere. The chestnut soup is delicious, so is my Tafelspitz. The duck had a nice crispy skin. This place does not get a lot of tourists- the locals all come here to eat.

Really great environment - really delivers on a intimate feel (and pretzel ceiling piece a nice touch). The boiled beef was excellent. Was excited for the duck but was ok not the best - really nice crispy skin but felt overdone.

Very good atmosphere and a very helpful staff. The price was not that high and the food was great. O ordered the Ente- the duck. Made to perfection . Crispy skin and soft meat inside.

This is one of my favorite places in winter. But you must have a reservation. I like to enjoy some of the heavy bavarian dishes here, eg ente. Have tasted several dishes: all great! Service is friendly, location/seating is cosy. They also have parking available... just need someone to drive ;-)

It's a very nice place with flower on all the tables, and very Bavarian with hard chairs, wooden banks around the walls with cushions to sit on. The clientele is well-heeled if not always in the best of taste. As we arrived a couple pulled up in a new giant mini and simply parked on the sidewalk blocking all foot... More

Hard to get a table, but it is worth the wait, best you make reserations in advance. Austrian Bavarian style cooking, excellent service, you will enjoy

not to far from central, Austrian theme, nice menu - fish to meat, good wine list, lovely simple ambiance, very nice staff, it is great for lunch - probably for dinner as well.

this hotel/restaurant is a nice and friendly place to stay. close enough to the city, but yet not dead center in the city. nice surroundings for walks in the evenings, and a good biergarten @ the hotel, and several close by at walking distance. the hotel staff is friendly and attentive, and rooms are sufficient and comfortable.

A client of mine found this place by accident in that we needed to eat somewhere on the way to the airport from central Munich. I found the service to be excellent. The atmosphere was good, but lots of local families on a Friday night so not a very sophisticated crowd like in Schwabing or closer in town. I had... More
