The menu is typical Austrian. Boiled beef, Wienerschnitzel, and a smattering of fish and vegetable choices. All well prepared and tastefully served. The garden is very nice.

Beautiful space with nice service and local food, but with attention to details also for non local. Had the gnocchi and they were very good. Chanterelle tartare could have been better (I wasn't expecting pickled mushroom) but overall good and well presented

Dined with a business party of 12. Excellent experience in all details. Really nice location, well appointed not too formal but elegant nonetheless. Very attentive knowledgeable friendly staff. Great Bavarian / Austrian menu. Food was really outstanding, we all had different choices of appetizer / mains / dessert and everyone loved theirs. Great wine list, knowledgeable waiter on this too.... More

There were happy times when Austria and Bavaria were united. On a culinary basis they are again together in this slightly upscale restaurant and its splendid interior and superb menu. From Tafelspitz to Wiener Schnitzel to Backhendl and Palatschinken (the Austria's version of pancakes) - you have it all there. High quality, fresh food, nicely presented, excellent Austrian wines and... More

Great spot for local and Austrian cuisine - of course its "asparagus season" during these weeks, so lots of options and variations on that theme. Enjoyed some Weiner schnitzel and asparagus, served with hollandaise sauce, I wouldn't have naturally put it together, However it worked ....and I had the best goats cheese and beet salad I've ever had, the cheese... Very nice interior, good and attentive service. Large standard menu and a a special menu on top with all the classic Austrian dishes as well. Tafelspitz was excellent, served in two courses as it should be. Also fantastic deserts and a large variety of special schnapps. Will definitely want to go again to try something else from the menu :-)

The previous reviews of this restaurant do not lie. I was recommended this restaurant by a friend who's family is from Munich. The service is top notch and everything we ordered was like a piece of art from the soup, boiled beef main course and desserts. I will definitely return to this restaurant next time I'm in Munich.

We visit Munich yearly and among the restaurants I have tried this is the best restaurant I really like. The food is superb!!! Excellent service and atmosphere. The chestnut soup is delicious, so is my Tafelspitz. The duck had a nice crispy skin. This place does not get a lot of tourists- the locals all come here to eat.
