Run by an EXPAT Canadian, the food, whiskey, beer and wine were all outstanding. Even better the atmosphere is very down home, all the way to the pool and ping pong tables in the basement. We were treated very well by the owners and the staff and went back night after night.

A friend & I were told by our tour guide to check this place out. We weren't disappointed! I had the Bavarian Burger (I think?). It had ham, bacon, & cheese + the burger. Very good! And the fries were American fries. Oh, and the tap water didn't cost anything. :-)

Went there one evening after touring castles. Had several drinks and chatted with locals. Just your local pub very nice.

I just stopped in for a beer or two. Everyone was friendly, the place was clean and they had plenty of beer so two thumbs up.

Easily the best burger I've had in Europe and most likely the best food you will find in Garmisch. The staff is nice and fast and the owners are extremely friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a cozy place with great food, cold beer and good music this is your best option!

This was the perfect place to go for an American who wanted to watch the soccer game and eat. The staff spoke near perfect English and the food was amazing. The hamburger (jalapeño) was the best I've ever had. The selection of whiskey was limitless and prices were adorable. I had a whisky and coke and it was very strong.... More

So, I went to the Local Cure at least 2/3 times a week during April. Honestly there are not many places open in Garmisch till midnight and LC offers a very good option to have beers until late. The staff and owner are great and will make sure you feel comfortable at all times. Will be back!

Lovely vegetarian burgers (option to replace the meat for all you carnivores!) - in a cosy, pub atmosphere. Popular with locals and tourists alike, this gets really busy, and once you've been, it's easy to see why!

This place is an intimate local pub, very typical of what you'd find in Dublin and offers some good food with an excellent assortment of scotches to accompany your meal or to start off an evening. It's located a short walk from either the main pedestrian area of downtown or the Marshall Center. I walk down to it from the... More

We stopped in with a group for a birthday party. The staff is friendly and the drinks and food are good. It took a little bit long for the food but it was acceptable as the pub was really busy. Everyone enjoyed themselves. It is worth a visit.
