Chanced on this restaurant as a way to escape the rain showers.. turned out to be one of the best meals. Waiter was attentive, gave great suggestions, even thought the restaurant had only a few patrons. We ordered Chateaubriand, not a usual choice, but this was served with professional attention.. The meat was so tender, and tasty. Service was cordial... More

We had one of our best meals in Germany here - simple fish, with a sauce, and asparagus, but beautifully done. And the room is relaxing and service excellent.

Our primary goal was to find hotels near the DB railroad stations in Bavaria. Reindl's is about 3 blocks straight north west from the rail station. Easy to walk too. Top notch. Very charming, quiet, clean and full of amenities: Full service spa, indoor pool, outdoor gathering area, a cigar room. An excellent attached restaurant and a separate hotel bar... More

If you want to eat something special (like game meat) and good food in Garmish, this is the restaurant for you. Good food, ellegant service and very nice atmosphere. The prices are not cheap but quiet affordable ,if you do not order some rare wine.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Reindl's. Our waitress was cheery and inviting, and happily accommodated our mixed needs of enthusiastic carnivore and picky vegetarian in navigating the French-focused menu. Both the lobster bisque and pumpkin soup were incredible. The carnivore thoroughly enjoyed his full rack of lamb, and an on-the-fly vegetarian medley managed to be delicious and not boring.

Absolutely delicious, very reasonably priced for fine dining, excellent silver service - and British real ale on the menu to boot!

I went for Sunday lunch expecting the usual finesse and was very disappointed. The starters were very good but main courses were a real let down. It is such a shame as it had been my favorite birthday lunch restaurant but not anymore. The medallion of lamb came in large chunks with a thick brown sauce like a restaurant populaire... More

Wait staff tended to every need and food was what you would expect from a Michelin star restaurant. Not too expensive either....not many restaurants open at night in town.
