We should have made a booking, of course, but the friendly restaurant staff fitted us (myself, wife and adult son) into a table. (Sharing tables is often necessary in popular Bavarian pubs and restaurants. You can meet some very interesting people!) We ordered two potato soups (kartoffelsuppen -- the English name makes this soup sound like wallpaper paste, but Bavarian... More

This is a well established restaurant in the area. We have eaten here several times, and it has been quite full each time we have visited. The service is friendly and efficient, the ambiance was nice, and the food was very good and affordable.

True Bavarian menu. Pork cheeks with carrots and potatoes were excellent. Roasted pork cutlet with local mushrooms and gravy was excellent as well. Couple with us ordered pig knuckle. More than enough for 2. Wish we could have eaten there twice so we could try it. Service prompt and courteous. Please try.

After consecutive nights of consuming very large German meals, I was looking for something a little different. While there is also that option, Restaurant Wolf also offers sandwiches and soups. My husband and son both had hamburgers and fries. They were huge...8 euros for a plain burger....a little over 10 euros for a burger with bacon and cheese. I had... More

This restaurant located in the centre of the village is very cozy, well decorated, bavarian Style offering a good sort of Bavarian food and beer.

We visited the Wolf twice during our stay. Good food.. good beer .. traditional bavarian atmosphere.. The prices are very good and the portions are so big that you must be realy hungry to finish your meal!

Not the best food, but prices were right, the atmosphere was very "Germany, complete with dirty looks from locals" (I ain't mad at ya!)

The menu was varied with a whole page of seasonal choices for Autumn. Many dishes were in the traditional style but there were dishes to suit a wide variety of taste. We chose the seasonal wild mushroom soup and the local Ammergauer cheese soup to start with the seasonal mains of venison and wild boar stew. All were delicious and... More
