Such a cool atmosphere and amazing food! Best Maultaschen I've ever had. Great restaurant. I will definitely come back if I'm in Stuttgart again.

My wife and I joined a group of 20 others for a night out at the Weinstube Schellenturm for a wedding reception and had a fantastic time. This was our first experience at this restaurant and we weren’t disappointed. The wait staff was very friendly and spoke English. The restaurant was very clean and service was flawless. The only two... More

Placed in a remaining tower that was part of the old town of Stuttgart, this restaurant is wonderful! We dined there twice. Once in the upper floor of the tower and the second time on the patio. The spatzle was divine with the salad! Do not miss this historic place!! A must for the Stuttgart area.

Altough the location is nice and the food a little above average, the rudeness of the waitress could ruin your dinner here.

Have eaten hear a couple of times on different trips to Stuttgart. The Maultaschen (meat and herbs rolled in pasta-like dough) are some of the best I've had in Germany. They have a nice terrace/garden and a very good wine selection. It's well worth the walk from the centre of town.

We frequently dine at the Schellenturm as it is close to our house and they have very good Swabian food as well as a lovely setting in Stuttgart's last remaining town wall tower that later served as a prison. They also have a very pleasant outdoor dining area in the warmer months which is delightful but a shame to use... More

I booked this restaurant months ago as I was giving my husband a gift of a trip to Stuttgart for his birthday and having inquired about atmospheric restaurants, I felt this would be memorable - unfortunately it was memorable but for all the wrong reasons. I had asked for a nicely placed table in the corner of the room so... More

Family of three on a Friday night with a reservation. Had a table in the front garden and atmosphere is one of the best in Stuttgart. With a glace inside they clearly have an indoors to match. A strictly Schwabisch menu, it is simple with limited options but because they know what they do well, the high quality, freshness, and... More
