We were just looking to have a drink, and decided to go upstairs to Sophie's. We decided to eat as well, and we were not disappointed. One of the best meals we had in our trip around Germany/Austria. The Käsespätzle was phenomenal. Our waiter was great. Don't miss out on this place!

Located at the beginning/end of the pedestrian street in Stuttgart, this brauhaus offers a great variety of beer and food. Unique decorations add a bit of flare to what seems to be a hole-in-the-wall, until you make your way up the stairs. Noodles with mushroom sauce were fantastic and a free salad bar, not sure if it is only offered... More

Great place. Make your way up the stairs and you will find this little gem. Staff was friendly enough, and it looked to be filled with a lot of locals just sitting around having drinks and talking. The beer was great and the food was what we expected; German with good flavor and a decent price point. All in all,... More

Nice place to stay, good beer and big portions of good quality food. It's at first floor, in the center of Stuttgard. We were two, on Saturday night: families and young people groups everywhere, but not too noisy. We had a light beer from the house, very tasty and fresh, and Sophie' special place in the pan. A good choice... More

We had "Weißwurst and Knuckle of ham" Both very tasty and serve in due time. Waiter did a very good job regarding recommendation and in serving. Nevertheless if you look for veg food there are also some menus available but selection is by far not up to the mark. => if you don´t like beer and meat stay away =>... More

The beer is fabulous, there is no doubt about German beer. However the atmosphere is not as pleasant as others

We ate here last week, the food was lovely we ordered chicken with fried potatoes and hollandaise sauce and my other half had white sausages with pretzels. The food we can not fault at all. The only downfall we had with the restaurant is whilst we were there, a large group of tourists came in to eat (around 30/40), after... More

I ordered the spätzle special and side of potatoes, and I can't remember what beer but everything was delicious, and the serving size is massive. The service was kinda crappy, but all German waiters in my experience are kind of lame and not very attentive so I've lowered my standards in that respect. It took forever to order anything and... We had diner here, the food was ok and was served quickly. We had to wait for a waitress to take our order for drinks most of the time although we were sitting besides the counter where they order the drinks. Not a bad restaurant but not great either.
