best doener in Stuttgart ? I expected a lot and I wasn't disappointed by the taste but I don't think I'll go there again. The bread was slightly burnt. You wait about 30 minutes and it's 50 % more expensive than the doener I usually have.

Always packed - so be prepared to wait - but I promise it is worth it. It is a must visit whenever I'm in town.

The best Doner I have ever tasted. The doners are huge and made with the freshest bread. The reason why I didn't give this place five stars is the wait is forever at dinner.

A very busy nice local place. Always crowed, but worth the wait. It gives you time to choose from the menu. The owner is always there and does the cooking. The atmosphere is like being in Antalya. Enjoy

I went to Alaturka as I have read in many blogs, websites, magazines as well as heard from many friends that this is THE BEST kebab place in Stuttgart. After a big night out a kebab is quite often a life saver, also if it is at 2pm the next day. In hope that on a Saturday afternoon not so... More

Alaturka distinguishes itself from the competiton because opposed to standard doner meat, they use unprocessed meat with no added flavours. Thus the meat is less salty and you won't get that typical doner meat taste. The bread is home made, and the toppings out of ordinary (assortment of eggplant, paprika, feta cheese). Many call it the best doner in town.... More

This was the best doner that I have ever eaten, either in Europe or Turkey. It was so different from the ordinary that I would hesitate to call it a doner! The meat is actually identifiable as meat and is clearly formed from scratch rather than being the "mystery meat" that one usually encounters at doner stands or in restaurants.... More

Frankly, the kebab was delicious, but we had to wait for more than 35 minutes get a delicious kebab sandwich with grilled vegitables. Finally, we didn't even get one of the few seats in the snack bar, so we had to eat outside in the rain. My recommendation: don't go there during the rush hours.

Although I came from Turkey, doner was much more tasteful than the one in mother country. There was a line about 10 people, and while I was there the line is not getting shorter. However, it's definitely worth to wait.
