The food is pretty much tex mex instead of pure Mexican... it's OK and tasty, could be a little cheaper. Service was awesome, and owner is very friendly!

I make it a point now to visit Cocina whenever I'm in Stuttgart. Perfect setting, perfect food! I recommend the Enchiladas or Burritos as main dish and Nachos for starters. Nachos are served with incredibly delicious and freshly prepared salsa and guacamole sauces. The menu very detailed and easily understandable. You really know what you're getting! :D And in my... Craving hard to find Tex-Mex, we stopped here one evening. Upon entering the owner greeted us with how much he hated children in his establishment. We probably should have left then...We did stay, however, for a very underwhelming meal. While the chef believed that the burritos were "to die for" I found them below average, oversized and very spinach-heavy. Throughout... More

Over the course of the last year, my experiences at this place just kept getting worse, so I stopped going. While the food is a respectable interpretation of Mexican food, the service and atmosphere are terrible, bordering on dangerous. (NOTE: FAMILIES WITH BABY STROLLERS, you will likely be turned away at the door. The owner states that strollers damage his... More

I had not gone to the Cocina Mexicana since it moved (it used to be next to the Esso on Haupstrasse). Since it was an easy walk from my house to this place I had gone there about five times before I realized that it was not going to get any better. Being from San Diego I am used to... More

By far the best Mexican food we've had in the Stuttgart area. Try the house-made Habanero salsa (you have to ask for it), guacamole, Quesadillas, and Chimichangas. We tried both the ground been and special slow-cooked pork and both were to die for. Outstanding Mojitos as well. Note: this is a nicer restaurant and rude-behaving children will be asked to... I travel to Stuttgart several times a year for business and never miss going to get a fill of Mexican. You can't go wrong with any of the chimi's or the burritos. The pulled pork chimi I had recently was fantastic. I'm a salad person and love the portion of salad served with the dishes. The owner takes a lot... More

The only thing worse than the horrid, awful food was the sanctimonious, condensing service. The only thing worse than the service was the price for the food. We ordered enchiladas and instead of enchilada sauce we had something like an Italian tomato sauce drizzled with a sweet and salt brown sauce. The owner came out within seconds of our arrival... The owner is rude...everyone knows this. Food is ok. He should work online where no one has to deal with him. Rose wine is 11 euro a glass!! Save yourself some time and go somewhere else.
