We enjoyed with colleagues this place - a lot of 'Badisch-schwabisch' food choices available. Big plates, 'average to good' quality/taste. We missed a good wine list, beer selection is OK. Service was swift and friendly. Be aware that parking spaces are limited in that area of Durlach.

It was as always a very nice evening with great food and a very attentive, personal service. Badisch specials, a nicely made menu followed by an extra Schnaps & desert menu.

The dinner was done through buffet so food diversity was obviously limited. Thus I can only comment on what was ordered . The quality was fine but quite simple. However, I would highly recommend on a soup and on panacota desert which were really delicious. Environment also is nice in a traditional German restaurant . So I recommend the place... More

Went there with a local German friend and it was just a great little place in Durlach. Perhaps do a quick walk around Durlach town and then head over for a bite. Easy access via local tram and served amazing Maultaschen and Spaetzle. The beer choices are a treat with variety of local brews. Highly recommend for those looking for... More

Excellent restaurant serving quite traditinal German dishes, asparagus was served in different ways as it was in season, the portions are probably too big, but then the German have big appetites! Great service, and nice tables outside when it is warm. It is a place not to be missed for quality and value for money.

This place was recommended to us by a local. I was a bit worried after reading a review saying the menu was in local dialect and the staff didn't speak English. There was no need to worry, both waitresses spoke very good English and they immediately offered us an English menu. The snails, prawns, beef and schnapps we had were... More

This ranks 3rd out of 195 restaurants in Karlsruhe on Tripadvisor which astonishes me and makes me never want to eat out in Karlsruhe ever again! The food is mass catering and not well executed at all. It consisted of large plates of school dinner type food with no demonstration that the chef had any cooking skills whatsoever other than... Visited in March for a business dinner with 12 colleagues. Cozy setting with various rooms set apart by a few stairs to different levels. Food was traditional local German with flair. Staff was friendly and efficient. I would be glad to return.
