Beer and german specialities very tasty! It's an artisanal brewery with also seasonal beers and serves german specialities in a nice Biergarten. Käsespatzle were really appreciated and the quality of raw food is really worth the price!

I was here last week with work colleagues. We watched the football game (italy vs spain) and enjoyed the local special beers. It was a great experience. The food is ok but the beer is fantastic - i had a red beer and Hefeweizen which was perfect for the summer evening. We had the pretzels with cheese and mustard -... More

No matter which branch you go to, Durlach, Ettlingen or Karlsruhe, you're in for a really fine micro brew. Vogel unfiltered Pilsner is an institution. The food is ok, but that's not the reason to go.

My colleagues and I met here for an informal dinner during a business trip to Karlsruhe. We enjoyed the plentiful informal outdoor seating, the excellent German food and the patient service. We had colleagues from France, uk, Germany and China so we had varied needs. I had a huge portion of schnitzel and fries, and the other dishes were well... More

The food was pretty average, as was the beer, but the staff was amazing. And I don't mean average is a bad way -- just as similar to other reasonably good food in the area. But did appreciate that staff.

Went to have local beer in Vogelbrau. Crowd was mix of local & expat community. If you are looking for beer and good place to be. Food was little disappointed. But visit again for beer for sure.

Excellent, fresh German food and good service! Outdoor and indoor setting with a long bar area where we have now dined twice. Will try to go back another time before I leave if posdible.

Brauhaus with good food and beer. Portion and price is good. The pearl is the very nice whisky. Taste that is well balanced and has a nice aroma. Go there.

I chose Vogelbrau for my dinner Karlsruhe to try something typical of Baden Württemberg, my expectations were surely met. Being famous for its self brewed beer, its full of local people who enjoy their time in the best German tradition. The atmosphere is amazing, really. As for food, you can choose among a selection of typical dishes of the region... More

We were here to meet old friends from University. Crowded place mixed with young/old/rich/poor ... people. They offer brew pub dishes at normal quality for decent prices. Nothing standing out up or downside. Service excellent. Friendly and always a fresh beer. Beer was not meeting MY expectations. Too hoppy and almost like ome from Bremen or Frisia. Even the Bock...
