It's small so tricky for larger groups. But great for couples and small groups to just sit down and have a bite.

Superb authentic German foods (Rost Braten Zwiebel) and a view that can't be beat are among the highlights of dining here. As a bonus, prices were surprisingly reasonable.

This restaurant is in a very touristy area, the food and service reflect this. Good location next to the Old Bridge. Basic German food, service slow. Nice place to sit but don't go there for the food.

It seems that Goethe has been around. Typical German place for Schnitzel - lovers. Nothing gourmet, but pretty nice. Good food.

I am so disappointed that my foot even entered this restaurant. The waitress was so resentful... First of all, I asked whether we can sit outside. She didn't even look at me when she responded. I ordered a Schnitzel with Pommes frites (a small portion) and received a Schnitzel with the german potatoe salad, which was actually not a problem,... More

We sat outside with a wonderful view of the bridge. We had the sausage platter and a schnitzel. It was excellent. The schnitzel was so tender I almost didn't need a knife. All-in-all, this is a great place to eat. Service is attentive. We had no complaints. I always stop here when in Heidelberg!

Went here for dinner with friends and sat outside. Service was a bit grumpy in the beginning, yet still fast and relaxed a bit later that evening. The Wiener Schnitzel, Cordon Bleu and the Kaiserschmarrn are their classics and truly recommended. We ignored the advice to share the excellent Kaiserschmarrn and had a hard time finishing it after eating Schmitzel,... More

This is obviously a place for tourists next to the beautiful well known bridge. The meal is not bad (nothing to be remembered) but the attention is really bad. A waitress treated us like if we were a problem during the whole meal. Disgusting.

I was there with a couple of Friends and love the local with paintings from the city history on the walls. Food was also very good, had Lamb Chops (A nice portion) Dessert: recomend the "Kaiserschmarrn", also to share (because the size of the portion) if you are feeling hungry you can also try alone! :)

Really heartening food. Seeing as it is the asparagus season we tried the asparagus soup which was divine. Great staff too who are very friendly.
