I've eaten in quite a few Michilin star restaurants, and this is my favorite. The service and staff are spectacular, sharing history of the building, remembering your preference from previous visits, and taking care of you with very high standards, without hovering or eyeing you from the back of the room. Wine pairings are always excellent. Cheese trolley is to... More

Appetizers and other surprises are delicious. The main course, i.e., sea bass, is a bit plain. Dessert is boring at best. Even though their selection of cheese is good. Wine pairing is worth it.

A great local restaurant. Traditional German menu. The "pfifferlinge" were excellent. Fine choice of wines. Follow the advice of the waiter.

The welcome and service were exceptional. We chose 4 courses and tasted about 10, with amuse bouches, pre dessert and après desserts. The wines were well paired with our courses and served in generous proportions. Altogether a fine and memorable dining experience.

An excellent but rather expensive restaurant. However worth spoiling yourself while staying in this magnificent hotel. Worth paying a little extra.

I know fine dining takes time but when is it too much time. Tonight's meal was exceptional in all facets except time. 3 hours for 2 people is just too long for me, however the meal itself was absolutely exceptional. There are 2 tasting menus to choose from 3-4-5 courses. The beauty of a tasting menu is you indulge in... More

As with many restaurants that I visited, I almost never walked into a restaurant randomly. This was not exception at Le Gourmet. I stayed at the hotel, so I can eat and drink. See my hotel review for Die Hirschgasse. From the beginning, I knew it was going to be an entertaining evening. The chef opened the door for me... More

We arrived at Le Gourmet to a warm reception by the restaurant staff and showed to a beautifully set table in a very beautifully decorated room.
