We here for our evening meal whilst in Heidelberg for business. Beer was nice and cold, food was average. Traditional German menu with what liked, lots dishes however these were average and too greasy. a good place for a drink with lots of atmosphere.

The beer and drinks were fine and it's a nice enough beer keller. But....We were a family of five with three teenage kids and just wanted some drinks. We waited for around 15 minutes to be served our table so I want to see if you were meant to order at the bar. I was told this was not possible... More

Worth the visit just to try the local beer there. The place is fun, always noisy and vibrant, with large tables and people all around. Try any of their beers. If possible and you're not driving, try them all! The food is ok.

Located in old town close to old bridge . Typical German Brewery ambience . Shared table is common . Crowed especially when a large tour group arrive for pre ordered meal . Service staffs are friendly but expect to wait longer than usual time to receive food . Grilled pork knuckle with sauerkraut is the best and highly recommended .... More

Great food, service and beer. I'm solo and they sat me at a table for 4 with only a couple sitting at it. Ended up being a wonderful evening. She was from Heidelberg ( locals eat here so you know it is good) and she ordered for me and ordered the pork knuckle and dark wheat beer...OMG!!! Yummy!!! I went... More

One of our favorite restaurants! Food is excellent; beer is great; location is convenient and service is good. (The restaurant holds the Guinness world record of having the strongest beer!)

.... and to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. This was one of four restaurants recommended by our hotel receptionist and it was a good one. We chose here because it was full and had a good atmosphere. The staff were helpful and pleasant. Considering how full it was, service was very prompt. The waiter gave information about the beers brewed... More

I had dinner here with my husband and teenage son. Thisnold brewery serves traditional regional food and their own beer. The food is delicious, but be warned it's filling and the portions are large. Reservations are a must as this place is very popular and extremely busy. The prices are reasonable. Staff are very efficient and friendly. About 30% of... More

If you are adventurous do the European thing and ask to share a table. The food is food and the beer comes in any sizes to satisfy all thirsts. You are also close to the historic bridge and the Centre of it all.
