Worth the wait to get in. My wife and I were seated at a table of 6, met some great folks. The food is amazing. Service excellent.

Ate dinner at Schnitizelbank. and it was fantastic. Steve had their platter, with sausage, liver dumpling (a meatball - tasted very good, and we both hate liver), pork shoulder, and a local specialty that is apparently German haggis - very tasty. Fried potatoes and sauerkraut on top of all that. I had the special of the day, coq au vin,... More

Best is Heidelberg. A truly great dinner with lots of variety and tremendous food. Our friends ate the four nights straight. Prices reasonable.

This tiny authentic gem is not where you go for ambience, unless you like a German pub-like atmosphere. Or for intimate dining, because you'll probably be sharing one of the few tables with strangers. Nor is it where you go for great service (the owner is amusingly curt, yet efficient). No, this is where you come to have one of... More

The restaurant is #1 in the city for a reason. To enjoy their food it is worth a wait. You can try to get reservations or just wait on the back porch with a drink for a spot to open. The place is very small so you will be seated at table with others - take the time to chat... More

Just like most all of the reviews say, small place but worth every bit of it. We arrived and were seated at a table with two ladies dining. We ordered the tomato soup, the salad with chicken and the turkey schnitzel. All were superb. I would definitely recommend this location.

I popped in early to see if there was a possibility of a table and one of the two guys at the bar took my name and said to come back later, after 8pm on a Friday night and that he would be able to get us seated OK. When we came back, the place was still very busy but... More

We had dinner at Schnitzelbank on a Tuesday. Be aware this is a very small place - five or six big tables with very close seating for maybe 20-24 people when full. No quiet one-on-one conversations here unless you brought a mega horn! Staff is cheerful and very efficient, food is standard pub food, absolutely nothing special. Both of our... More
