Was taken here and will happily go again. I had the pork knuckle which was big enough to feed a small village! Very tasty.

The place is well located and very cozy, the menu is all about German Food and it's delicious. We've been there twice and when we come back to Baden Baden, we'll certainly stop by.

This restaurant is part of a chain of hotels, bars and restaurants belonging to a local powerful who still manages the company personally, while a lot of other hotels, restaurants etc. have been rented to foreigners. Employees are almost all foreigners with sometimes a poor knowledge of German or English, treated rudely by managers. Quality of food just standard. Prices... More

Not the perfect place but we were happy to visit. Typical german food may not be so tempting visualy but the taste can exceed the expectation which was the same here...

In our month's stay in Germany, we experienced a mediocre meal at the Lowenbrau. Attracted by the beautiful beer garden and the Trip Advisor reviews, we expected more. The sausages and weinersnitzel were not very tasty. The waiters seemed tired and inattentive. I would not recommend this restaurant.

Had Family diner there - the place attracted us due to its german' like garden and way the waiters are dressed (Bavarian style). The food was very good, drinks great (glass of Riesling and Lowenbrau beer). For us - tourists - the atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for. Seeing lot of Germans there we understood the place is... More

Are there with friends from overseas. To be fair most of the meals are really expensive for what you get (€30 for a veal steak? And €25 for pork knuckle is mental) but the specials are well-priced and they do €7 weißwurst and brezel breakfasts in the morning which is OK. Plenty of beer on offer and lots of options... More

I've eaten at the Lowenbrau each time I've visited Baden-Baden and each time I wind up trying to decide if the place is some sort of gigantic German joke on hapless tourists. It's Disney gone Deutsch. From the lederhosen-clad servers to what has to be one of the odder animatronics around, the Lowenbrau is a must-see in Baden-Baden. Because despite... More

This is a classic German biergarten. There is a load of seating both inside and out. They have a nice selection of bratwurst. Our waiter was preoccupied with hitting on one of the waitresses so our service was spotty.
