A few things we learned on this latest trip were to ask for a menu in English and ask if they had kids meals. This place did and we had some nice food. The beer was also superb. Meal prices were good. Of course they get you on the drinks. It all evens out.

What can be better than a German biergarten in the shade, especially when it's 30 degrees outside? Nothing. Good food, good beer, good ambience. I recommend you to spend some of those euros you've been holding onto in this place. If you like pork, by the way, go the whole hog (geddit?) and try the traditional Bavarian Schweinshaxe. Don't plan... More

Good service in a busy beer garden, great standard German beer food. Good choice. We 4 shared a meat platter for 2 so made it good value, lots of food plus a great salad. No problem ordering. Lovely situation fairy lights and staff dressed in traditional costumes.Good atmosphere.

Good restaurant in excellent location serving typical German food and excellent beer. Not cheap but worth a visit as it is full of character.

Nice location and the food was pretty good but a bit pricy but not shockingly so. Service was average. The atmosphere and the food is traditional German.

We visited this restaurant on a warm evening and sat in the flower decked area outside, which has a very nice atmosphere. We had the best schnitzel we have ever had, which although a little expensive, was definitely worth it.

It's a beer garden in Baden-Baden. Beautiful flowers all around. HUGE portions. We both ordered weiner schnitzel, which came with 2 pieces of schnitzel and fries, and 2 beers. Wait staff not real friendly and overall rather kitschy. Pricey for what it was - 64 euro. If had to do it again, would go across the street to La Casserole.

Brought here for lunch by our Tour Leader we were anxious to enjoy German food as we Americans think of it. Our meal started with beer and a huge German pretzel with sweet mustard followed by bratwurst and potato salad. Perfect. Dessert consisted of apple strudel, which was the best I have eaten and coffee. Some of the waiters wore... More

Indiferent service, bad, overpricrd food. There are much better places to spend your food dollars in Baden-Baden. Go to Amadeus for better cheaper food and good local beer.
