We had arrived in Baden Baden early Thursday afternoon and checked out the restaurants on TripAdviser to ensure we booked for Friday and Saturday nights which we assumed would be busy. Top of the list was Schneider's so we decided to try a quick pre-dinner drink. There was only three or four tables occupied so they could accommodate us with... More

Went there to celebrate a birthday. Truly and genuinely welcoming owners, some of the best food I had in recent years, and local wines that will surprise you. Look no further for the perfect lunch or dinner - worth the visit when in Baden-Baden or passing by! Looking forward to return!

We had blood sausage and breaded perch. Both entrees were excellent. We paired the above with a suggested Riesling. The staff was very friendly and helpful in explaining the menu selection to us. While busy, it was still suffice toy quiet for my wife and I to converse.

The restaurant offered a typical German fayre with hearty dishes. We all ordered meat and even our youngest son who in not a big meat fan ate all. The wine was local to the area and went well with the food. Was a lovely room.

My wife and I ate dinner here on Wed July 13. It was centrally located and easy to find. We had our hotel make reservations. The interior is very stylish with an upbeat atmosphere. As we looked around at the other guests there were a number of local folks and not at all touristy. Our food was fabulous. My wife... More

Having read the very good reviews, we had expected slightly more than we actually got at this restaurant. The food was very good but the Schnitzel was only the second best we ate out of four different schnitzels at four different Baden Baden restaurants. So very good, yes, but not quite in the five star category for us.

The food was outstanding and reasonably priced. The owner work the tables and ensure that everything is perfect. Seriously, the salads are delicious. They make a house made dressing that is divine and mix it into a mix of greens, nuts, tomato, etc., I need the recipe for the magical dressing so that I can take it home to California... More

This restaurant was fantastic. We really enjoyed ourselves eating here and Herr and his wife look after you so well. He was the most welcoming of hosts and very proud (and rightly so) of his wonderful restaurant. He makes very good recommendations and is happy to explain about the food. One couple who left returned with a present for him... More

If you want a genuine German meal this is the place to go. German cuisine is much more than schnitzel's and sausages and this place is the place to learn that. Herr Schneider is in the house over seeing everything to ensure your visit is amazing. He is the hardest working guy in the place. Amazing food, try the veal... More

Six of us came here on the off-chance that they had a table available. We benefited from a no-show booking. What a great find. Relatively simple yet excellent German cooking. I had a fabulous Cream of Pfifferlinge soup followed by Veal Cheaks and Spaetzle. Others had what they said was outstanding fish, one perfect steak with fried onions; another a... More
