Very good good food and good experience, however it is very expensive. No doubt it has amazing views though.

The food is quite acceptable, but service is perfunctory with the staff busying themselves with phones, discussions and just chilling out. A part of the next door Folie Douce with its very loud music, which is fine for apres ski, but an irritation during lunch.More

La Fruitiere La Fruitière is the restaurant slap-bang beside the famous Folie Douce bar/cabaret/bear-pit on the Bellevarde slopes of Val D'Isère and which is owned by the same people. I have long had a horror of visits to the over-priced, over-crowded, over-loud Folie Douce, but...More

Reserve to come to La Fruitiere, it’s a buzzing in demand place, though there is additional outdoor seating. The restaurant is stylishly done out, more reminiscent of a south of France bistro then a mountain lodge & tables are tightly wedged in. Staff were lovely...More

Description
HIGH, CLASS, DINING(butcher, cheese maker, fishmonger, wine maker, baker..) and the modern, specially adapted techniques required (low-temperature slow cooking, heat-immersion, vacuum and pressure cooking…). The whole menu makes maximum use of quality local (Savoyarde) produce, an open invitation to indulge in the superb regional food culture. La Fruiterie is equally original in its interior design, taking its inspiration from the old mountain dairies, with a thoroughly modern design interpretation: from the white metal milk churns to the regional Beaufort styled furniture, the visible zinc pipework to the staff uniforms. The staff team are young, enthusiastic and dynamic, from the kitchens to the front of house, the emphasis is on a totally cool client/staff rapport, creating powerful customer loyalty.
