Our hotel was right across the street from this cute patisserie, and as the result we have sampled quite a number of treats there during our week at Val. What can I tell you... All the desserts that we tried were excellent. Can't say the same about all of their savory options (quiches, tarts, etc), as some were great, while... More

Fantastic hot chocolate. Beautiful cakes and pastries. Great prices. Attracts wide variety of clientele but perfect for Apres Ski.

Pop down here first thing for the best bread, pains au chocalat etc. Beautiful array of cakes, tartes and sweet things. Expect average French service and high prices for the cafe. Two hot chocolates, two small tartes aux myrtilles €20+....

On the Main Street just up from bus station this this gem. A wonderful place to sit in and sample the delights on offer, you can also take away. An array of patisseries, bread, and wonderful topped breads for snacks. Definitely worth a visit.

My boyfriend and I passed through while exploring the Christmas market, hoping to grab a quick cake and then a drink at one of the surrounding bars. We browsed and came away with a lemon tart and a chocolate moose like desert called the madonna (I think). They were a touch expensive €26 for the tart, moose and a tin... More

Good quality French bistro with good selection of fresh quiche and pastries with accompanying cafe and capuchino. It's tight inside and busy but worthwhile and reasonable value for the area

Excellent pastries, desserts and quiche. Enjoyed visiting everyday during our stay in town. Don' leave it too late in the day to visit as they do sell out of certain items. My kids particularly liked the eclairs!

For the freshest and best bakes, sandwiches and light lunches head for Patrick Chevallot's famous bakeries in Val D Isere. Situated next to Hotel Auberge Saint Huberte, it is in the centre of the town and buzzes with enthusiastic and hungry travelers. Also a chain up the street, slightly off the main rd, though they don't have tables and chairs... More
