Dinner there was extremely nice. The service was good, the wine list formidable. Everyone in my group said it was the best dinner they had in Megève

We drove to Le Refuge in a snowstorm for lunch as we couldn't see to ski. The atmosphere is alpine and friendly, the food was delicious and regional. Service was charming and we were allowed to practice our fractured French. Loved it so much we were back next day visibility was poor on the piste!

By far the best value for your money in Megeve. Not to say that it's cheap it's that good. Please just some menu tweaking. New dishes would be great. But 'nuff said on the downside, a great staple.

Welcoming, cozy place, all wooden made and well-attended in details. There's a big terrace outside where you can eat, perfect for summer days. The poached egg with lentils and crunchy bread with foie gras is one of the best things I have ever eaten...really extraordinary!!! I would go back only to have it again. The dear and black Angus were... More

We had a very relaxing evening here with some friends. There was a jazz group playing so the atmosphere was particularly good. Our food was delicious and the waitress who looked after us was very attentive. Like in many other restaurants in Megeve this is a good place to people watch. Definitely worth the drive up the hill.

It is the second time this year that we eat at Le Refuge and both times we have loved their menus and a la carte dishes . This time I had a very well cooked sweetbreads dish served with carrot and ginger purée and perfectly cooked potatoes. Part of the family had lamb rack with vegetables that was tasty and... More

Nice alpine setting although a bit difficult to get to if you don't have car. Service is great and food is excellent - the restaurant is not overly formal but smart nevertheless. Wine list is excellent. Good value for money - one of my favourites in Megeve

This is our second time but will be our last. Although the staff are friendly, the food is good and the setting lovely I am fed up with their system of 2 sittings per evening. The second sitting of 930pm is too late for me and you would think the first sitting would be fine with a couple of hours... More

Lovely restaurant, service impecable. This restaurant is located at the end of a road up the mountain therefore if they weren't providing very good food, reasonable prices & service they wouldnt be there. 3 course plat do jour mid week at under 30 euros is exceptional value for Megeve & tasty too!
