Another friendly restaurant in Lyon, with very good food. I had the best Gazpacho soup I ever tasted. Their opening time is a huge advantage, when any other restaurant in Brotteaux area is closed. You can have a walk through Parc Tete d'Or after a delicious meal at Brasserie d'Est!

Roofed in a former train station, this restaurant's interior bears lots of references to the history of the railway. Pleasant environment although a bit hectic during lunchtime. Waiters rushing around to serve the needs of their numerous customers. Rather simple lunch-menu. More interesting a la carte choices. Among them some french specialties with a modern twist.

We dined here after arriving late and they held a table for us via our hotel front desk. We arrived and it was the busiest restaurant that we have ever been into. The noise level was off the scale and it was very cramped and no room at all to move around. The table was not even laid until we... More

We came late Sunday afternoon to warm up after a walk with a tea and rum and some waffles. The service was horrible and they brought us (without asking or recommending us to chose from the menu) the most expensive rum even though it was clearly meant to go into our tea, €40 per glass!!! They thought we are tourists... More

Went there for lunch with colleagues, but it was really too noisy and the tables and seats are too close together. Food is good, price for lunch is also reasonable. Impossible to get a table unless you reserve a week in advance.

Very nice place, a little to big, charming sitting in the old gare. Tables are bigger than the average. A little pricey, the main problem is that recipes and dishes are always the same as everywhere in France. Tartare. Fois gras. Fois. French fries. Creme brulée. And so goes on. I won't come back, I will keep searching for something... More

The brasserie itself it's very pretty, we decided to have dinner on a busy date so there was a lot of people; the food it's average for the price they manage and we received the famous french service! if you are american don't expect your waiter to be super attentive to you they will hardly approach you table unless it... Bocuse is the name that draws people in. All said and done it is a average Lyon brasserie. And that's not bad, but, I think most people are expecting more especially when they look at the menu prices. If you go just remember it is a brasserie and not a temple of gastronomic excellence. For that go to his 3star... More

The brasserie is typically French. The atmosphere was laid back with a mixture of locals and tourists. The food was amazing. I had the oysters to start with, followed by the veal while my husband had the snails followed by the beef. Although not cheap, it was well-priced for what we had. An excellent evening.
