Previous reviews are not realistic, the experience was simply TERRIBLE. The place is beautiful yet the dinner summed in low quality products, expensive supermarket wines, long waiting times and a general disappointment. Prices are quite elevated for the low category; not at all worth it....More

I went there with a colleague. Staff was nice and polite, food was good, price was quite expensive. I tasted lyonnais food for the first time and to be honest it was well cooked. Wine was very good. It looks there is a reason why...More

We had dinner in Bistro du Lyon. Competent, reasonable value at 25.50 menu du chef (fish, roast beef), (70.50 for two incl drinks) better than other tourist traps in Rue Merciere.

It’s true that nobody rushes you in French restaurants but I think in Lyon especially you’re expected to make a day of it, even if you came in for a simple lunch. So starting with the oysters through the café gourmand sit back and savor...More

We had a lovely evening at Le Bistro. Outside was very cold, while inside was warm and welcoming. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food delicious and the decor beautiful. We will definitely return.

A long established restaurant. Comfortable and full of character. An extensive menu without being too complicated. Good service.
