Good food, plenty of local classic dishes. Love this great big room always filled with people. Fast and friendly service. I also love the deco, the feel of the place, it's just an absolutely must experience if you're nearby or have the time.

Despite my rating of 3.5, I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you want a classic, old school dining experience. We went mostly for the experience. I ordered wrong or would have rated it higher. I had the pigs knuckle and sausage with sauerkraut and...More

Great food, friendly service though it's a huge restaurant. Everytime you order a flambe dessert, they off the lights and present the dessert with fire flicker and play the bday song. Pretty cool and fun. Lots of variety in terms of food

One of the oldest restaurants in Lyon. Worth a visit for a drink but make sure you go when it is crowded otherwise there is no atmosphere. Food mediocre as is service.

Art deco and very attractive! We started with escargots. Then duck for my lady and the sauerkraut with assorted meats for me! Reasonably priced wine list. Absolutely terrific!

This restaurant just celebrated 180 years in business; that's quite an achievement and it's due to their high quality food, excellent service, and wonderful ambiance. This is a white table cloth kind of place, but don't think that there's a dress code for diners; we...More

Unlike restaurants, this place is open all day and despite the huge number of tables, it can get crowded. Plan on reservations if you go after 8. We had their onion soup which is the best we've ever had. The vegetables sauteed in olive oil...More
