We came by the restaurant accidentally online, called outside normal restaurant hours (6pm) and were able to make a dinner reservation for four (and a small dog) just one hour later. Even on 14 July! Excellent! Lovely Lyonnaise food - you must try the sausage. Affordable prices. Well worth a visit.

We went there after our host recommended it as a typical lyonnaise. In general it was ok, having 3 different menus to taste simplifies a lot the choice. On the second floor was better than on the first floor as it was more space. It was a good restaurant, not great as it was recommended.

We ate here 2 weeks and wanted an early dinner after a long flight from Australia. The waiter was very accommodating and gave us the earliest table at 7pm. Food was delicious. Waiters were friendly and helpful, 2 of them speaking good english. The restaurant is located in a pretty square so lots of opportunity for people watching if seated... More

Great food, thoughtfully prepared. Each outdoors in a little square in Old Town Lyon. Inventive bouchon style cooking, with a sly hint of classical French thrown in. Do yourself a favor, don't miss!

Recommended by our lodging host, we were pleased to taste some Lyonnaise favorites during our stay in Lyon. The atmosphere was lovely for the somewhat crowded and very busy restaurant. We enjoyed the chicken liver pate and the Lyonnaise salad starters, followed by sausage with potatoes and a quenelle with rice. All were very tasty. Dessert was delicious creme brulee... More

The receptionist at our hotel recommended this resturant. We were not disappointed. A very friendly waiter helped us make our decisions and we were able to sample Lyon cuisine in a warm inviting environment

The waiters were quite friendly and efficient. I could not decide between the two red wines by the glass so he brought me a taste of each. I chose the Rhone variety which went well with my dishes. My wife had the Chablis, which went with her fish course. She enjoyed her gish. We each had the onion soup. I... More

Quenelles are disappointing, but the beef cheeks are amazing. And the Jerusalem artichoke soup was particularly good. However, for the quality seems overpriced. The dining room is small and crowded. The staff is very efficient but not particularly welcoming or helpful. Overall, I think you can find better without going to far.

Very disappointed. We had one last night in Lyon and my boyfriend wanted to show me quenelles. We came to Trois Maries because it had, in the past, a good reputation, but when we went we had a 25 Euro menu that could be had in other locations easily for 15 Euros, and the food itself was unimpressive. The gateau... More
