Located in the Halles de Lyon market, this restaurant serves only fish/sea food. Excellent and fresh oysters, mussels, etc. Place is crowded, tables are small and people speaking different languages gather in the door trying to find a spot. Good relation quality/price.

Excellent range of seafood, from whelks, through shrimp, prawns cockles and oysters through to Langoustine and Lobster. Excellent service from a very friendly staff but the langoustine were overcooked. Local white wine was delicious as was my pudding which was truly marvelous

This is a must-go-to place each time we visit Lyon. The freshness of the seafood is unbeatable. We especially love the succulent oysters and sweet langoustines. The price is fair but not cheap. We found that it is better value if you order the seafood ala carte than if you order a standard platter from their menu. Only pity is... More

Disorganised service (as so often in France). We sat at the bar for near on ten minutes with at least three peopke looking at us in surprise as they rushed around no doing very much.... We were finally did get one man's attention to explain the concept that we were in an eaterie and might like to eat, the oysters... More

nothing has changed since my last visit 9 years ago. excellent crustacés et coquillages, unfortunately there were no "oursins" (nowhere in town btw) but the oysters and mussels were excellent as always. the saint-marcellin cheese we had afterwards was top-class. you can visit this ancient establishment even after closing time of les halles, and sit inside, outside or at the... I use to come here if no others are having sea urchins, they always have. On the oyster side, the are ok, but nothing special, as comparing to some other's offers. The service is ok, yet they are pushing you to order... :(

Not many people are aware that the restaurants in the Paul Bocuse Market is open at night. I discovered this with a local business colleague who recommended the restaurant. This restaurant has an excellent, warm and cosy atmospher. The seafood is fresh and tasty. Service is a bit slow so be patient and soak up and enjoy the ambiance. Food... More

We visited the market and were recommended to this brasserie by one of the workers at a stall. We had great service, great food at a very reasonable price and really enjoyed the experience. Our waiter Fabrice spoke good English and really helped us. We had beautiful oysters (a mix of 8) and lovely scallops washed down with good wine... More
