Wot it says. We came here twice during our week stay and afterwards ranked Nardone ice cream just as good as the more trendy bio-champion Terres Adelice. Our fave flovour at Narone was the salted caramel. The staff we met were bilingual and patient. We would return here for sure. I am done. the end.

According to a resident in Lyon this is the best place to eat ice-cream. I would have to agree ! Alot of flavors to choose from, the service was extremely friendly. Had to stand in the queue for a while but that cone of ice-cream was worth the wait.

We were mesmerized by the long line which made us curious about the hype. The next day with a much shorter line we ordered our Nutella and strawberry cones. It was very average made worse by dirty dishes stacked in the window, and we watched desserts slapped together and handed out to customers. It dampened our spirits.

Been there before, and been there again! This place is my favorite for Ice-cream in Lyon. Boasting a wide choice of flavours and compositions, I always walk away regretting I didn't try more. Will have to go again...

Great flavours. Friendly staff. Most importantly, delicious ice cream! We've been in France for close to a month and this was the best ice cream we have eaten.

We bought ice cream and we said we will take it away, but we saw there are plenty of empty tables so chose to sit down for a while. After 2 minutes the staff came to our table and said we can't sit because we chose take a way. It was so rude and unreasonable. If there were a lot... More

Very traditional but innovative ice cream cafe that also offers crepes and waffles. Location is great, you can enjoy your ice cream sitting outside at one of the old town's nice squares. Staff is very friendly. Actual ice cream is of good quality, but not spectacular I would think. Oh, and don't expect low prices. We paid over 8 Euros... More

Wow, my mouth is still watering from the memory of René Nardonne's ice-cream. A perfect stop on a hot day in Lyon with a view of the river, and a wide variety of delicious flavours. Watermelon was my favourite - I've not tasted anything to equal it since. It's very pricey, but you do get what you pay for.

The French word for peanut is cacahuetes, a good piece of information to know since this ice cream place serves this flavor along with a large number of other delicious choices.

Fantastic Gelato! The chocolate orange and lemon was delicious! Reasonably priced and generous scoops.
