Our first lunch in Lyon after our long plane flights. We were staying nearby but the rooms were not ready so we trudged off exploring. We found Casabea for lunch and drinks and were extremely pleased. Great cheeses, meats, tartares and wines. They made the...start of our vacation a wonderful experience.More

We came here twice - once for lunch and once for dinner. Both times the food was good and service was friendly. (Extra tip: the linguine carbonara dish was very tasty!)

Stopped there for lunch with my daughter. Strongly recommend the tartare de saumon aux frites fraiches, huge quantity and taste really good. Enough for both of us as my daughter was a bit disappointed by the mozza sticks and the tuna tataki. Too much cream...in the tiramissu.More

Once you get used to the eating hours of Lyon you realize that some places are eating places and some are drinking. This is the latter. A great place to start for pre dinner drinks and then head to your Bouchon for a delightful meal.

Food was tasty and arrived promptly, despite being busy. In the heart of a busy street of restaurants, great people watching ! Waiters were busy, fun and attentive. Our desert was delayed, so they took it off the bill, no complaints there. We sat outside...with our children, late into the evening. Felt safe and able to relax.More

A few snack (chicken strips and cold meat) with a Pina Cola and Carlsberg and it will not get any better than this

There are a lot of choices along the restaurant row near the Saone River in Lyon's 2nd arondissement, and we chose Casabea. TWICE. The first time we came in we had good pasta, the Vongole and Carbonara were both tasty. As we left, the manager...ran after us to 1) invite us back after the Women's World Cup Final (they're not usually open since it was a Sunday) and 2) to give us back 45 EURO that they overcharged us. We did come back after the final and the atmosphere was just as fun at dinner, and we discovered their drinks and dessert were good as well. The people at Casabea are all awesome and we appreciated their extraordinary hospitality.More

Casabea is a wonderful small restaurant tucked away in the streets of Lyon. The staff was absolutely amazing since I was new to the area and could not speak French. The staff helped me on what I should try and everything I ate was amazing....I was there for 7 days and ate there 4 times. Oliver one of the waiters was very helpful with explanation of dishes. Just remember that Lyon is a place to relax and take time to enjoy your food. If you are wanting a quick meal and are in a hurry then Lyon is not a place for you. I will return to Casabea again and again.More

Very good restaurant placed just in the center of Bellacour and start of one of the many restaurant streets. Great seating either inside fine dining, outdoor or in the sofa pavillon. Whe really enjoyed good french dishes, tapas and great wines both in an afternoon...and dinner one evening. The staff were professionel, friendly and had a great humor that made you relaxed and felt very welcomed. The sofa area is really great, good view over the busy streets, evening time totally crowded, but you just sit like private in the cute pavillon - almost as it were your private home, just surrounded by a lot of happy friends/guests here.More
