Make sure you book in advance as this very unique French restaurant has limited seating and booked out. And that is for a reason. It is very quaint, the owner comes around and explains the menu and telling jokes, although they are in French, mind you he doesn't tell you the price. So you order an entree & main wine... More

This restaurant offered us an amazing and unforgettable culinary experience in Lyon. It is a must go if you are in the area, however make sure and reserve the place at least a day prior and make sure that you tell them if there will be any vegetarians in your company. Restaurant is a single dinner service /single seating and... More

Now, let me start by saying that I am a native of Lyon, so my opinion might be a little bit bias when it comes to Lyonnaise cuisine, but I was with my family and they are impartial! It was superb, the food Lyonnaise or less so, was delicious! I enjoyed Patee de tete, andouillette, and tarte au praline! The... More

Don't be late for lunch! You need to have your feet under the table at 12h. Fun place. Great traditional food

Excellent food, very nice owner that gives you also a nice history of the neighbourhood after dinner. His menu changes every week, and all ingredients are fresh, they don't have a freezer. Portions are big. Reservation must be dine months in advance

The good was so good I almost want to keep it to myself. Entrée: saucisson lyonnais brioché and terrine du chef Main pork cheeks (why ever eat osso bucco again) Drink the house wine!

Tables run together so if you like quiet, intimate dining, this is not for you. The host takes your orders himself and is quite helpful helping you choose from a fixed menu. The food is very good but not fine cuisine.

This is a typicenal restaurant you wouldn't go to if you don't know where to look for it. It's small (best to reserve a table) and is open from the morning until evening/night except for Saturday (as from evening), Sunday and Monday. The food is VERY special and lots of things I didn't try before so you'll have to love... More

Recommended by friends who stumbled on it on their way to the alps. This place isn't fancy. You enter via the traboule, the lights are slightly too bright. The decoration a little dated and plain. You eat, shoulder to shoulder with the other diners. In short, this place doesn't sell itself on its looks. It 100% sells itself on its... More

Fantastic food, warm relaxed atmosphere with a very engaging host. The menu ophtions were offered in a very clear and entertaining presentation. Our limited French was not a problem. Food and service were excellent. We really enjoyed conversations with our fellow diners. Great value for money.
