We didn't have very high expectations with this restaurant given that we called 48 restaurants on Friday lunch to book for dinner the same night, this was one of 3 only restaurants in trip advisors top 50 restaurant that still had a table. All other restaurants were full. As it turned out from 7 to 8:15pm, we were the only... More

A delicious meal with such great value, friendly service, nice wine and most of all simple delicious food!! The menu is in French and the waitstaff don't speak much English but as you're in France what do you expect? If you have a few basic translations of meats then you can wing it and not be disappointed!! Ravioli is to... More

I went to this restaurant on a Monday evening with a customer. Even though there are so many restaurants in Lyon only a few are opened on a Monday night. Price quality ratio was quite good. I pay around 100€ for 2 people including several wine glasses.

After being greeted by friendly staff, I enjoyed a glass of St Joseph, a most acceptable local drop (particularly if allowed time to breathe), and an interesting entree – salad served in a cup and ham cooked in herbs and flowers, accompanied by a generous portion of stewed apples, caramelised onions, and butter, topped with melted goats cheese. For my... More

The waitress really made us feel welcome and was very attentive. The food was excellently prepared and the menu has a wide selection. When we refused desert for caloric reasons we were offered a glass of eau de vie de poire which we accepted. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. We tried to go back for... More

We came to Lyon for one night, and found a place in this cute restaurant. It's a little outside the center, but what you get in return is a nice evening with good food, wine, and the company of locals. I went for the suggestion of the chef, which was a home made ravioli of aspergus, followed by veil. Food-wine... More

There was the Waitress with no patience for clarifying any items of the menu that we couldn't understand. Requested a medium steak and it came out having barely touched the grill. The salmon was the same as well, maybe it's the French way of cooking? We were the only table not offered any table water and got our bread with... More

Nice meal, friendly attentive staff. We all had a lovely dinner last night. The summer menu amd gourmand menu can both be recommended.

The chateau-briande with morels was delicious as was the truffle ravioli. Despite the place being small, since we were early they squeezed us in without a booking. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

I really enjoyed this restaurant. Had a really nice beef carpaccio, good steak, and above average wine for a reasonable price.
