Nice restaurant in the hearth of Grenoble Outside tables, typical French restaurant, quick and nice service Very Good option of tasty French food and beverages (wine, beer, soft drinks) makes this place an excellent choice for your dinner in Grenoble downtown

I've frequented this place on business trips the last 5 years. The set menu dinners are reliable and this is what good French dining should be. You can bring your family here, entertain clients or friends, or just show up with a colleague and enjoy the food and wine amidst the interior atmosphere of a 500-600 year old building.

We had a truly superb meal here. All the staff were charming, welcoming and helpful and the food was delicious. We started with the sharing platter which was almost a meal in itself even for two people. The main courses each came with their own dish of potatoes dauphinoises which was delicious. Highly recommend.

There are many good things going for this place. First and most importantly, for this time of year, its open on a Monday night 😊. For business users, there's €29 and €37 set menus - I had st jaques ravioli and fillet steak and baba au rum for €37. Yummy. Reasonably priced wine too.

The atmosphere is great and the food is generally very good at L'Epicurien. The service has improved, although still is not the greatest. Had the 29 euro menu with a light crab and smoked salmon pate made with ricotta and fresh spinach as the starter, followed by roasted spare ribs with reduced thyme juice and potato gratin. The sauce was... More

I would give this restaurant a four if the service was as good as the cuisine. But it is not. I really don't like a restaurant that seats you and forgets you. Give us a bit of wine and an appetizer or something if you're busy, don't just leave us sitting. The food here is quite good. Ravioli, fish, steak,... More

Perfect place for chilling and enjoying fine food un Grenoble. One advice, book few days ahead to make sure you get the best spots. You can check prices and menus on their website. Tip: Grenoble's tap water is one of the best you can get on France; so you just need to order a bottle / glass of wine /... More

I went three times there and overtime la carte was different, since it changes with the seasons. Of my three visits, I think I preferred the first winter-hemed one, with a wild board to die for. The choice of wine is very large and intimidating: they give you an iPad and you can browse dozens (if not a hundred) different... More

I went here with 3 friends and it was just amazing. Between us we ordered the magret de canard, côté de boeuf and the hamburger. Each was super delicious and perfectly done. The desserts were amazing, too. My only qualm was with the service. Although it was friendly and polite, it could have been more helpful. We didn't know what... More
