5 stars for design and interior. 4 stars for food and service. The restaurant is perfectly located just in the middle of main drag and you can not missed it. Nothing special from outside but inside decoration is stunning. Even if you don't planning to have a meal here it is worth to jump inside to look at and take... More

The food is very good. We come every year to chamonix at least once and always have a stop at this restaurant. This time the only reason I don't put 5 stars on it is service... They have too many new empty who don't really know what is going on... But highly recommend it, summer ( for its great terrace)... More

But first... I have eaten at many restaurants, but the staff here were the kindest, gentlest, funny and wonderful people I have met in a long time. You made a great meal even better - thank you. We stopped by the restaurant at 2:30 to make reservations. The woman at the bar let us pick the table on the patio... More

Love the interior, but the fondue is way too salty for us. I understand it's just the cheese they use, but it's way too salty for us compared to other places. We ended up have to take most of the food out as our lunch on TMB and cook another dinner at our hostel's kitchen. The service was great though,... More

We had a chicken dish and a pork dish, both with mushrooms. The food was very good and the service was excellent. Outside dining is awesome. Very enjoyable dinner.

Great dauphinois potatoes with a delicious local rose wine. We sat outside which is a perfect way to while away the hours and watch the world walk by.

La Calèche was a surprise, an old style wooden interior restaurant, with many items of interest. Went for the Raclette (a half wheel, perhaps 2-3kg, didn't eat all!!) with Potato and Bread, topped off with a 2011 Château Bernadotte Haut-Médoc. A terrific dinner. Cuisine and service were extraordinary, waitress was extremely helpful! A must revisit is required

We are raclette at this restaurant and it was incredible. Others are other entrees but in this part of the world it's all about the cheese and wine. Was very happy with this dining experience. And we got there late and were among the last ones to leave...there was no pressure to finish our evening.

Fantastic service with a great atmosphere - a must when you're in Chamonix...recommend two or more people to take advantage of the great fondue menu items that are for two or more people...but even solo the beef stew was amazing

The restaurant is warm and welcoming with an old world charm but the interiors is exquisite. It looks like a farmhouse or tavern from the yore with metal pots, pans, shoes (!) and other odd & ends hanging from the wooden beams. Stuffed birds, squirrels, fox etc decorate the beams. Low lighting, all wooden furniture and red lamps create a... More
