We came by and decided to drop in. Real wooden "forno". Pizza margarita was so good that we ordered two. In the end we barely got out of the restaurant :)

Le Caveau has a unique dining atmosphere in the cellars and fair prices, but we found that their pizza crust was a bit underdone.

Eating in some kind of a grove is very interesting! And as you are going downstairs you don't expect this beautiful made from stone like a tunnel restaurant! The food was just good ,the chili hot salad was very tasty and "hot" and the service was just satisfying. The best of all was that it stays until late so you... More

And expensive. Don't even think about eating anything but pizza there, my wife had onion soup and it was terrible. This is an expensive city, and there should be only good food for expecting travelers. This place misses the mark.

Its a great little place, and whilst I'm sure they aren't bothered about the absence of a Michelin Star, neither are the customers. Great inside, and if after a hard day on the mountains, you just want to eat food thats well made, then you won't go far wrong !

Seven of us dined here. My escargot were disgusting - the worst I have had: shrivelled and stale in reused shells - I finally gave up. Friend having French onion soup found it to be poor quality. A friend had Steak Tartare and next morning came down with food poisoning and was extremely ill. Speaking later with guides and other... More

Unassuming from the outside, the restaurant is downstairs, with a man effortlessly making pizza after pizza at the front and an adorable dog roaming around...expectations were high. As a large group, we were sat at the back of the restaurant. The lights were so bright, we asked to switch them off, which they were unable to do. The table next... More

Quirky setting. Staff not very pleasant. First in at 6.30pm, they clearly weren't ready and waited 10m minutes before we could order even a drink! That said, the pizza was very good, but the chicken/pasta dish lacked flavor and taste. Better places to eat.

Coming back to Le Caveau after 3 years not being here... and it feels like time stood still! Not negative but menu, interior etc. was there, still. We had pizzas which were great. House wine was poor though, but cheap.
