This is a good place to eat and drink. Can get busy and when it did the waiter got a bit overwhelmed and had to remind him of our order a couple of times. When the food came it was always good and both food and drink was reasonably priced too. Good atmosphere.

Whilst we haven't eaten here, we have visited at all hours of morning, afternoon, evening & night for a coffee or three (each) resting up from the heat or the cold (season dependant) ..& ever time the service has been friendly, relaxed & WELCOME ...remember this is france, service is different (some may say slow) we understand the "digestif" & social aspect, this place has plenty, we've never been hurried out in favour of larger groups hungry for food.
Love the angular building, modern bar & oldish pine combination (look up when outside to understand it properly).
Kids welcome, home to hikers, tourists & locals alike, ...a comfortable place & a place you feel comfortable.

Perfectly fine fare - applies to both drinks and burger food. Service and ambiance well-tuned for apres-ski. The place is appropriately loud, and allegedly serves the most amount of draught beer in the region. Especially popular with expats and Brit visitors. Definitely better suited for the younger 'GenSet'.

Can't eat inside due to lack of staff, terrace is packed. This place like many in Chamonix is obviously making too much money delivering sub standard service. Owners need a reality check on hospitality.

We come here regularly and have never been disappointed until now. I have already written several positive reviews in the past. But... what a shame! Dry bread, burger with a more than bad taste, poor quality meat. The fries tasted like oil that had already been well served. Very very disappointed, we didn't finish our burgers. We will not return there and yet when we came to Cham it was our place to eat. This demonstrates the depth of our disappointment.

Enjoyed a mid-afternoon lunch here of hamburgers, fish & chips, and cheese plate. The burgers were delicious and are huge; the cheese plate had a great selection of cheeses; and the fish & chips was really good -- the batter was light and tasty.
The portions are generous, and the service is really friendly, welcoming, and nice.
Definitely recommend!

This place is great!!!
We’ve tried a few places in Cham but this was our favourite so went back a couple of times. Food is excellent value for money compared to many others. Teenagers loved it too. Burgers are huge and the best I’ve had in a long while. Salads are amazing too but be warned they’re not small… which is great too.
Service was really quick and pretty friendly considering how busy they get. Definitely recommend giving them a try.

We had a nice time drinking mulled wine here one day after skiing. The place across was very happening (and crowded) - we sat at this place inside - more our speed.
Great wait staff, friendly and helpful. Good time.

We were between meals and heard the burgers were excellent, and were not disappointed. It was the first time I have had hash browns on a burger and it was delicious. Elevation 1904 is a quirky and fun place to get a beer and a quick bite, but probably not the best place for the classic French meal experience. The staff was pleasant, attentive, but never overbearing.

I would love to go back as it's not far from the train station, 150m away, and the menus are great. Fast, attentive service, good food, fresh, just how I liked it. It's wrongly marked on the tripel. It's actually on the train station roundabout.

During a stay in Aosta we decided to trespass and spend a day in Chamonix. For lunch my wife and I stopped at this place near the cable car. We had two sandwiches, a portion of chips and two beers. What we got we liked and it was also quite cheap. In two we spent about 40 euros

We went there twice during our visit. Once for a beer and fries after a lo g walk and for dinner. The burgers were very good and the beers perfect. Its casual and friendly and well worth a visit.

Best burgers in Chamonix at a reasonable price, the service was good as well. We did visit at a reasonable quite early afternoon. The burger were exceptionally good.
