Very located and tourist spot. Piced ok. Foods average but service is good. You are paying for the location. A wide menu and things flow smoothly.

One of the restaurants in the main town square area near the Post Office. Large outside eating area good on fine days and the interior is OK too. Usual tourist type menus and not particularly good value - but having said that, what do you expect in central Chamonix? Quick friendly service and good food but better value can be... More

This restaurant has excellent service. A lovely atmosphere in the heart of the town. Food was delicious at a very reasonable price. Wouldn't and couldn't fault it! Thank you for a wonderful last night in Chamonix.

This is a tourist restaurant offering traditional Savoyard dishes in a warm and traditional setting. As you walk in the smell of hot raclette (melted cheese) hits you! Service is frantic but friendly as this place is always busy. I had French onion soup as a starter which was excellent as was my steak. This is traditional hearty food not... More

We went here three times and the food varied considerably, from the French onion soup which was brilliant, a pizza which was average and a tartoflette which is best avoided. Desserts were wonderful every time and the wine isn't overpriced. But what we noticed every time the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, unlike a restaurant opposite who handed us... More

I ate here once, and that was enough. While the price may be ok, the lasagna I ordered was reminiscent of frozen store-bought, albeit on a nice dish. The staff were decent.

At La Potinière restaurant, Chamonix, I enjoyed a Crêpe Savoyarde which is a crêpe filled with lardons, crême, and fromage. I do find this creamy cheese and ham crêpe accompanied by a glass of local rosé most satisfying to the palate. Being a creature of habit I enjoy this lunch each time I visit Chamonix. My husband devoured his three... More

This is ridiculous!! Always busy place at any time of day. Of course, central located this restaurant has a popularity among tourists. This is only reason why people are sitting there. But quality of food is awful. We had confit du canard in red wine - not possible to eat, the wine sauce was sour and duck leg had no... More

Had carbonara here and it was so bland, I could make better at home with my eyes closed. Everything is very touristy including the prices. No one out of the six of us was happy with their meal - very disappointing

Mixed Opinion on this place. Ridiculous prices on drinks - 10 euros for a beer just makes me want to throw things! The Onion Soup was splendid, could not have asked for anything better, it was the best thing I had for my entire stay. Get this dish! The burger was poor, tasted so bland and just not worth the...
