The restaurant is decorated with antique and vintage tools, sleds, and alpine items. It looks like a museum inside and outside there is a big covered terras with lights and heating for colder temperatures. We had the typical raclette (melted cheese) heated from traditional hot coals, not electric grill. The service was quick and friendly and the meal surpassed expectations.

Whilst the menu appeared promising and the starters were passable, neither my friend nor I were able to eat our main courses. We had the entrecote and the chicken supreme. The first dish was 90% pieces of fat whilst the Chicken was extremely dry rendering it inedible. The Sancere had a terrible aftertaste however, the couple mont blanc which we... More

This is one of the best Fondue restaurants I've visited; the fondue traditional is excellent. Not to mention ordering another course of BBQ meat (of your choice), where you will

I had the 3 course €19.50 menu - Quinoa salad to start (v unusual to find in France!), followed by Croute de Fromage (out of this world) and ice cream. I thought it was great food so great value and service was friendly and fast. Only downside, which I have found everywhere, is that you can't get a cheese fondue... More

If you fancy trying some local food then look no further. They have a great outdoor dining area as well as a traditional indoor decor for when it is chilly in the ski season. If you love cheese order the raclette and you will not be disappointed.

I have to say that the food was good, but I have NEVER experienced waiting staff who forget to serve some guests in the group and then argue with one of the guests over their order, finally forcing something on them that they didn't order. I was truly shocked by the attitude demonstrated by the staff.

After a day of walking up the mountains in the hot weather we were looking for a restaurant to sit outside. We chose the Menu of the Day and the food was delicious. We were delighted with our 'Hot Stone' cooked meats. The desert of sorbet in Vodka was eye watering!! Service was very good and attentive without being intrusive.... More

This was everything we were looking for in a local restaurant. Nice outdoor seating, efficient and friendly service, and a broad range of local Savoyard specialities.

Good ambiance and my dish (roast duck with a blueberry sauce) was great. However my wife had to send back her undercooked steak. But it came back better and with the potatoes reloaded. Desserts were great too.

We had a group dinner here as part of a Rick Steves tour. The restaurant was very comfortable and inviting. The alpine decor was quaint and not overdone. Pierre Chaude is a piping hot stone which the wait staff brings to your table (i.e. grill your own meat). There are accompanying sauces for your meats... if it's not to your... More
