Very nicely decorated and clean!!! The service is top, Anca was very attentive and smiling. It was a great atmosphere, music was nice as well. The food is delicious, great value for money, especially the lunch menu. Coffee is good as well.

We stopped by Le Monchu for a dinner. The restaurant is next to casino, and relatively large establishment. On the evening we visited there're banquet of a large group in next room. The inside is decorated with old farm tools, ...etc. This place would be nice in the middle of winter. I ordered 3-course fixe prix. The appetizer and main... More

I don't specifically have any complaints, but it didn't really feel cozy or special. That said, the raclette did not disappoint. I'm sure that we were there too early for any fun.

We ate here twice while hiking in the TMB. Both evenings we wanted to eat early and had not made reservations. We ate once at about 6:00 inside and the second time about two weeks later outside on the very pleasant patio. Both times the other diners were a mix of foreign tourists and other vacationers. Many groups had children.... More

We saw a raclette at another restaurant earlier on our trip so we decided we had to try it before leaving France. What better way to celebrate finishing the TMB than with a raclette dinner?! We saw this place while walking around Chamonix & saw that it had good reviews online. We ordered the raclette, which came with cheese (of... More

This is one of the few places at the area that serve non stop. If you arrive at Chamonix around 1400 you won't have many choices. However, i was pleasantly surprised as it was really good. The weather was hot so we sat outside. Nice patio with a view to the mountain but the inside of the restaurant was far... More

So many great restaurants in Chamonix, we wanted something simple after arriving from the USA. Outdoor seating on a beautiful September evening. Great food and ambience!
