"La Maison Epagny", presented in a recent TV documentary, attracted our attention. We decided to try their beef. The style of the restaurant as well as of staff is somehow too artificial. The quality of the beef (I took the Steak haché à cheval) is outstanding and prepared on site. However as everything is prepared on site, the service is... More

I took my family of 4 to La Maison for dinner. The staff was excellent, and we had a very nice dinner. Lovely restaurant overlooking the church of Notre Dame in Annecy. The steak was prepared well and was very good, what set this restaurant apart was the wonderful staff. Nothing too fancy, just good steak and fries at a... More

We were at the Bureau du Tourisme in Annecy and were going to the old city to see the canals and the shops when I noticed an ad; menu du jour: escaloppe de volaille. We kept walking around for at least one hour and started to be hungry. We could not remember exactly where we had seen the sign, so... More

The beef was good, although the meat not greatly cooked. Pork ribs were amazing, and the homemade fries really good. Place is simple and without prétention, service is friendly and efficient. Definitely a good place for a nice dinner!

Ate the classic hamburger and have nothing negative to say. Big portion of fries (can even ask more!) and nice (big) hamburger. I am so happy I haven't taken the double portion, one slice of meat was really more than enough! Next time I have a craving for 'junk food' I'm really going back here! Just to point out that... This was a good meal, I just had the Hamburger Hash (which they call Steak I believe) and my wife had the 1/4 Chicken. Both were good, not mind blowing, but a good meal. I got the Dessert au Jour, which was a lemon oriented plate, which I included a photo of, which was incredible, topped off the meal like... More

I took the caramelized ribs and there were a lot of them. It was so good that I had to finish my plate. No one around me seemed to have dislike there meals. And the French Fries is unlimited.

An overall very disappointing experience. Will never get back there. Meat was un-chewable and fries tasted like cooked in old oil.

Tucked away upstairs in an old building I went here for lunch. Before always seemed to be a bit disappointed in Annecy- food not great and prices a bit high. This place however was packed with locals on a rainy afternoon. I stuck to the plat du jour and dessert which were both excellent. For once as well the bill... More

we went to La Maison with friends, to eat good meat and drink good wine. They have a very pleasant menu with a large choice of good wines. The prices are really acceptable for such a restaurant. Very good concept!
