We remembered this restaurant from a previous visit to St Remy and decided to try it again. We chose to eat in the well decorated dining room as the terrace tables were mostly taken when we arrived. There are menus at 14,21, 25 and 35 euros but we decided to go a la carte. I ordered sea bream with risotto... More

We found this restaurant by chance and as they had a dozen snails on the menu which I love, we decided to eat there at a small street side table. The table and chairs were rather like a cheap picnic set and not the most comfortable. The snails were excellent. However my pasta main course was wet and flavourless. To... More

Probably the worst meal I have ever had in France! Right from the start the service (2 very sullen waitresses) just could not have cared less - instead of giving us menues, taking drinks orders they ignored us and reset tables. Eventually when they did take orders they got them wrong - and no mention of an apology - on... More

We were camping nearby and did a search on Trip Advisor but found our planned restaurant was very expensive. Found this by chance. What a lucky find. We had the €21 set menu which was delicious and plentiful. The drinks were reasonable too. Highly recommend.

Stumbled across this place and liked the look of it immediately. Very cute with a couple of pavement tables and cosy well decorated interior. Great value set menus with interesting choices. We tried a range of dishes between the six of us. Everything very good bar a tough entrecôte. Dauphinoise potatoes to die for and amazing selection of desserts. Wine... More

My husband and I had our lunch here today. I chose from the 14 Euro menu and could not be more pleased when my food arrived. I had the seafood salad, followed by ravioli and a creamy desert. All excellent. The pasta was fresh and soft with a good sauce that I am sure was homemade. My husband was disappointed... More

For a 14 euro-lunch this quaint little restaurant in St Remy offers excellent value. We had a delicious salad starter followed by an excellent main of spatchwork and rice. The desert was also delicious. Despite our very poor French we found the service to be friendly and efficent.

La Cassolette offers a three-course lunch or dinner menu for 14€, having two options for starters, main course and dessert. The food is delicious and the price is great bearing in mind the cost of restaurants in France, especially in the evening. Half a litre jar of black wine costs 6€ and you can always have free tap water. There... More

Another good value 3 course lunch at this little side street restaurant. There are several choices of formule lunch menus from 14 Euros, and a la carte. The wine and coffee were tasty and not expensive. Downstairs decor is all cream - simple but nice ambiance. Upstairs, was peach coloured and looked completely different in style. I guess this is... Went for dinner on our first night here our food was good but the staff were both rude. We could not speak French and they basically looked at us and said pick something. Would not recommend this restaurant at all. So many other great ones in town where the service is better and they appreciate non French speaking peoples business.
