Average pizza. Over priced food and drink. Sat around waiting for a while before being served. Not much atmosphere.

We visited by bus on a weekday in January so had no problem with parking the car or lots of other visitors. I imagine that could be a problem in summer. As it was just after Christmas they still had their decorations up and I was fascinated by the pink fluffy Christmas trees. Unique! The staff were helpful and explained the menu to us, which seemed to be of local produce. We ordered the pain perdu which I have never eaten before but it was delicious! The pizza and salade we shared were also good with an excellent salad sauce. The choice of beers was limited but the blonde pression was good. The calanque is worth a visit and the walks up the valley or the hill are worth doing. It was worth getting three buses out of Marseille to get there.

We toured Marseille by tuk tuk and the driver stopped here for drinks. We enjoyed taking pictures in this sweet little coastal area and had drinks at La Grotte. The interior of the restaurant was beautiful with multiple seating options and the bathrooms were immaculate.

What a fantastic venue. Probably one of the prettiest restaurants I have been to. The food was spectacular too! However, if at these prices you want a minimal of good service, which is normal, look somewhere else. We were a group of 9. 4 adults and 5 teenagers. We are not local and struggle with French but within the 1st 15 minutes we had 5 different waiters trying to attend us. Like an assembly machine of sorts. Eventually, a sommelier rescued us with a fantastic wine recommendation, only to be let down by his colleagues as the evening progressed. The establishment sells some commercial ice cream which our kids wanted as dessert. This was refused by telling us there was none available. When we were walking out though there was plenty available. So, I guess the restaurant does not want commercial ice creams being ate on the restaurant, which is perfectly acceptable to us, but inform us. Don’t treat paying guests with disrespect. To add insult to injury, literally speaking now, I arrived at the restaurant with crutches and a broken ankle. On our neighbouring table, another gentleman suffered seemed to have a similar injury and was brought some boxes to rest his injured foot on; a fantastic gesture from the restaurant. Towards the end of the evening as my foot tired, my wife asked for a box or something for me only to be refused in the most horrendous way!! What a shame! For what it’s worth, I do not recommend this restaurant.

An awful experience. It took three hours for our party to have just one course, the waiter was terrible, rude, got our order wrong, then tried to over-charge for his mistakes. After waiting an hour to have our order taken, it turned out that none of the pizzas were available, nor was the fish dish, the only one that one of our party could eat as she is gluten-intolerant. Waiter couldn't come up with an alternative dish (steak with vegetables, maybe?). He said he wished he could, but there was nothing he could do. She had a side-salad. Each of our meat dishes was over cooked when they finally did arrive. Other tables were served quicker, and better. Certainly not worth the effort. Try anywhere else.

My wife and I loved the food and the ambience of this restaurant! The seafood was fresh, perfectly prepared and utterly delicious. The prices are quite reasonable, especially in view of the quality and the location. As the Michelin Guide might say, "Vaut le voyage" (It's worth the trip). Highly recommended!

A small over priced place in a sleepy small village. 5 Euros for small lemonade, 9 Euros for 0,5 beer. Only possible because only place to eat or drink

From the street, it looks like an average "joint" ... tables out front, dark interior bar. But when you walk in!! There is a lovely, elegant dining room, if that's your preference. Beyond THAT is a picturesque patio, complete with arches, a curved staircase, blooming bougainvilleas, umbrellas and smiling servers. We could not have been more surprised ... and delighted! We had the appetizer plate -- roasted red peppers, avocados with shrimp, baked cheese, grilled squid and mussels au gratin. Our companions had fresh fish. It was all excellent food. Our server was a friendly, smiling young lady who took very good care of us. Even the ladies room was elegant and charming! What more could you ask for?

The interior and the decor of this restaurant is stunning. I come from London to visit friends and they invited me here for dinner. I had the bouille du pêcheur, a fish "soup" with the biggest and best prawn I ever had... We then had two desserts, a profitterols and home made ice cream with hot chocolate and cream... delicious!! The service was quick and friendly. I will recommended to everyone. Mercì

İ’m really disappointed by quality of service and unfortunatelly the food! The staff is totally friendly for sure.. Ambiance and view of the restaurant is good enough.. We ordered pizza ,but this was one the worst one in Nice&Marseille we ate , i’m sorry to say my honest idea. The taste of white vine they served 🥂 has also a bad quality.. 😕 Ido not recommed to visit this restaurant to eat pizza 🍕 .. 😒

This is the type of restaurant that seems to cater for tourist who will never come back. I haven't had such bad food in years. The service is not great either. When ask is everything was ok, I said no and the manager could not have cared less. Such a shame as the location is nice. I don't understand the good review of this restaurant. There is a bar outside where you can eat a pizza and that look nice.

Our last night in Marseilles + having driven all week I drove out again to what looked to be a decent restaurant. Nice location. Staff unfriendly to start. We sat in the courtyard + we all got bitten by mosquitos _ we had to ask the waitress to light the citronella candles on our table. I had a fish stew that was the worst thing I have eaten in several decades. The sauce brown + tasted vile . Seemed to have a clove taste. My wife had lamb that was undercooked and tough + tasteless. Overpriced badly prepared served by unfriendly staff. Maybe staff would have a different attitude if you are French.
